I won the war from August 29th to September 30th by capturing Paris, then swinging down to Switzerland and encircling the French army along Alsace-Lorine. That was the best feeling in the world! Last game I almost got Paris in 1914 (and again in 1917) but was encircled then had a stalemate on the western front until they punched through my line at Amines and trapped 27 divisions in Calais in 1919, after that I surrendered.
i tried an even cheesier method idk if you can call it that but i used 12 width cavalrie divisions to hold at the french border to reduce supply use and the used my other armies to take down russia and then brought them back to take down france (because when i tried it your way i had almost no equipment most the time)
From my experience i seen most people use Howitzers over Arty because they have more Soft Attack. But i never seen people use Armoured Cars i get they aren't that good, but what if someone made a division made up of Armoured Cars, Cavalry and Howitzers obviously switch out the Armoured Cars for Tanks and Cavalry for Motorized Later but i just wonder how that would play i'm asking because i don't have the game i'm not a PC person so i can't find out myself.

Honestly, i think playing Germany in this mod is way to easy. With your decisions you can murder France easily, it took me 2 months to destroy France and Belgium with decent divisions and after that the Entente surrendered.

Thats not a bad idea, but its gonna be useful only late game with the heavy tanks, like 1917 or 1918, and america will join the war
Also, you lack resources for tanks as germany if you dont defend your colonies, and they are pretty annoying to defend
