I upgraded to from the OG Sniper to Sniper 2 over the winter. I had an o2 sensor fail as well at first start. It AFR didn't stick like yours. Mine was reading faulty and running really rich at full throttle. Could just be a coincidence but it's odd. Replaced and I've put about 1500 miles on so far. It's been running fantastic all summer. I had the same idle issue with OG sniper and it pissed me off to no end. It's definitely a better unit than the OG sniper, there is no doubt about that.
I have the sniper 1 and I am very disappointed. I was debating on either go efi or go carburetor. I have decided to do Holley carburetor double pumper. Brand new with no O2 Sensor. The efi was trash I fell for the hype . I’m keeping the gas tank though but not the efi
I've never seen one of these throttle body/ carb fuel injection systems work good. They never really learn that great and have lots of issues. That's why you see so many of them for sale used like new on marketplace.
Great video. How about an aftermarket lightweight steering column with quick release wheel? Ya know, something to help offset the extra weight of the GV. Quest for the 9s and all that. Game on!
My sniper 1 ECU failed, sent it in for repair and they sent me back one that wouldn't read the 02 sensor. It was stuck at 15.2, replaced the 02 sensor and same thing. They ended up offering me a sniper 2. My question is, do you know if you have to use the regulator if you have the in tank pump? Im assuming you don't. But I was checking for some reviews of the sniper 2 and found your video and noticed your regulator. They didn't mention anything about it on the phone.
How do you run a 2 step on a sniper I’ve looked everywhere and nobody really explains it well I was thinking just a msd 6al2 is all I need right I’d rather keep my ready to run distributor mostly to save money
I run a 7al-3 box. You have to change some settings in the holley sniper software on a desktop or laptop. Just set the compensation and learn to enable at an RPM roughly 200 above what your 2 step is set for. It will just run off fuel table under that RPM and act as a carb would.

Just installed the Sniper 2 with Hyperspark and PDM in a street driven SBC. Full plug and play, no issues. Goes very well.
This is some good info! Btw we leaned out the car like we talked about on sick summer and picked up a tenth on our et! That’s for the advice!

Well that adaptor has to be ordered seperately...
I contacted Holley and you're wrong. It is supposed to come with the harness.
Theres a reason car manufacturers move on from carbs to tbi to multi port injection. Lol not rocket science
