I liked June Whitfield's narration as Miss Marple and the other actors were also very good. Joan Hickson is the ultimate Miss Marple, but I'm sure June playing her would've been interesting. Thank you.

In my opinion Joan hickson is and will always be the only miss Marple all others apart from Rutherford and maybe lansbury are also rans ie it's like comparing Nora batty with farrah fawcett

Miss Jane Marple was an ardent Christian.
The books have been altered very much, when dramatised, to suit the agenda required by whomever.
I would recommend listening to the audiobooks narrated by good British character actors, such as James Saxon.
So many good free ones available. Having said that, the first comment is either misguided or a troll.
