I agree with your explanation for " good " marker, earlier i was using good marker that way while playing, and after that when i was training him he thinks that "good" means play and breaks positions on that cue.
Can you explain the pops on the prong when you say “down” and he’s already down. Are you using the pressure as positive reinforcement? My Aussie goes down but very slow and offer gets back up.
quick question , i have a german sheperd of about year and 6 months, never trained but raised around a family and is pretty well disciplined in somethings but is super aggressive outside the house, is it too late to train her ?
I’m going to start with I am not a trainer. I do have two gsds, one was 2.5 when I got her she is now just over 3 and she was extremely reactive which her previous owner thought was flat out aggression. I muzzle trained her as a precaution and started taking her everywhere pets were allowed to go, I did not let people pet for the first bit and we avoided contact with other animals but she knew they were there and after a lot of time, patience, correction and treats we were able to begin having interactions with other dogs and now we have a 2 year old gsd who came to us a couple weeks ago. It is so not too late you’ll just have to help build confidence!
I cant get my 5 year old gsd to stay focused on me when we're out training in the yard ive been trying to get her to do it everyday for 5 years but she wont do it
Loving all the content on Patreon lately about how to train indoors when it's SO cold outside!! Andy you're a life saver!!!
Andy thank you for showing this demo. I am pleased I am doing everything correctly. My GSd is 17 months.. love the works /content you put out.

Good video. BTW the leash you used what kind is it and where did you get it?
Just started watching your videos. Learning a lot. Just got myself a Belgian Malinois pup. Definitely helping me out.
Where did you get that ball toy?
great video! why the automatic pressure with the leash if he is doing the command requested? thanks
Hello Andy!! How are you doing this morning? I just put my Malinois in a prong collar yesterday, it's a game changer.
Thats a nice space! Throw ring in with some bags train some fighters!💪💪☝️😉
where did you get that small leash?
What to do when off leash dogs ( no control from owner) approach me and my leashed GSD? Happens constantly. Thanks for the wisdom.

At what age would you say a gs is too old to train.
They're barely mature until 3
Why was he whining?
He's a gsd 😊
@@rebekahh371 my corso does that at times when he's in the boot.
He's excited. Wants to keep working.
