    No doubt, her statement was extremely racially insensitive.
    But she sadly does have a point.
    North East Indians are racially, culturally, religiously and especially cuisine wise, more similar to Taiwan and would be able to integrate within the culture and the people more better than the average Indian worker from say north India.
    Also, the recent report of the Spanish travel blogger's gang rape is not exactly helping the image of Indians abroad, especially the men.
    If India wants to play the long game, it would make sense for the country to utilise north east Indians in Taiwan.
