Marcos abuses? My father was a labor organizer during early years of Marcos, that is, before Martial Law. My father said that he was approached by the Communists and intructed to kill the Policemen in their area or town...he didn't follow it, then Martial Law was declared. Now, if I was the president then I will surely declare martial law!!! That sad thing about this M.L. is... Marcos is not a dictator for he didn't excutted Joma Sison, Misuari, Aquino and others for if he did... most probably the Philippines is at peace now for only a dictator can do that. Sample? When Iraq was under Saddam there were some skirmishes but not as chaotic as today. Those people people who celebrated the ouster and death of Saddam realizes that before there's only one Saddam now there many Saddam.
Karen Davila, you need to be professional when you interview your guests. Let them talk, let them finish and DO NOT interrupt them. That is VERY RUDE! You have been interviewing people for a long time and you should have learned this lesson.

Karen the closure of ABS -CBN is not a suppression of press freedom. Your company failed in some points of the clause and conditions of the franchise. It failed dismally (like you)actually, hence ABS-CBN doesn’t deserve a franchise. It doesn’t help ABS to secure a franchise in the future if you continue to accuse the government of suppression of press freedom rather admit that there has been lapse and violation of your franchise privileges which is the fact.
They are doing mental conditioning to the Filipino people. Instilling in the minds of the people that the administration was biased and had personal issues hence the closure.
