Masterpiece of film making Flawless performance from the cast Tony Randell outstanding Steven Spielberg is a George pal admirer And has a cameo in the first gremlins film On a tv in the background operating the time machine from George pal s Time machine Class
@Lupakalia Here in the U.S., Amazon has it for sale. I-Tunes has it both for sale and rent. Netflix has it for rent and I just put it #1 in my queue. Does the U.K. have a similar service as Netflix? That might be the first place to look.
@Lupakalia Sorry, I thought one of those suggestions might work. Not I-Tunes, either? I have the same problem. I'm a big fan of "Boys from the Blackstuff" and I'm in the wrong zone. I'm in California. I have to be satisfied with a chunk here and there on You Tube of the "Boys." Hope someone can give you a better lead on a "Dr. Lao" hard copy for your zone.Tony Randall has always been one of my favorites and I remember "7 Faces" from my childhood and will love it forever.
What a degrading portrayal of the greatest man that ever lived! Apollonius; having centuries before given away his inherited fortune, would have simply told the man "What care I... man's graven tokens?!" All hail Apollonius!
Only under the right director, ideal writers **cough cough not Hollywood cough cough**, and proper treatment. But aside from that, I highly doubt anyone would have the craftsmanship to remake this movie; it’s fine as it is.
@@exempligratia101 , I agree with you. Hollywood would add some unnecessary concepts of equality (not that I am against such things but in their lane they should stay). The movie had a sweetness and charm brought by Barbra Eden and Tony Randell which would be hard to infuse. But I did love the movie so much I think the remake would allows (IF done right) to enjoy it's strong story and charm.
I know this will never happen but I would truly love it if Jeremy Corbyn adopted this staged persona of Apolonius Tyanna to troll a tory fanboy at a leader's debate.
Tony Randall's proof of his exquisite acting skills, and wonderful sense of timing.
I wholeheartedly agree-he was insanely amazing in this film. I had wished he'd done more roles as varies as these!
I'm amazed how he played this many roles with just makeup and no CGI.
Great scene with the underrated Arthur O'Connell. Lovely and cynical classic George Pal.
he did win just not the way he thought
Exactly that :)
🙂🙂🙂
I like that each "face" has its own tune, and that we hear each tune with each "face" at the grand finale.

" am I going to win " " yes"
Stark gave him more than just five cents.
this movie, well certainly has a good heart...
Apolonius is cool
Best of all.......yes, he did indeed, win. :)
Merry Christmas, everyone! -2014.
I thought no , when he said that the bad guy was going to win
I wish I could watch it for free instead of just segments

it's not shown here., but I loved how he just took 5 cents...
The vulnerability of Apollonius, when he fumbles for the nickel!
5c! Should have charged him 50 Dollars 💵

WERE IS THE MOVIE UPLOAD PLEASE...

Blow it out your ass, Sally.
The money is probably for Dr. Lao. Even Pythagorean mystics of great magical renown have to pay rent sometimes!
This is a movie that could and should be re-made circa 2020 (well maybe begin production in late 2020)

*ALL* western towns have the railroad coming through?
Yes . Each town starts with a trading post.
I know this will never happen but I would truly love it if Jeremy Corbyn adopted this staged persona of Apolonius Tyanna to troll a tory fanboy at a leader's debate.
You mean Corbyn the Hasbeen?
