It’s always fun to see what new adventures you’ve had from hiding cell phones inside yoga mats to upload video to sneaking inside an abandoned compound with goats. You certainly do have a unique way of seeing the world which is charming, fresh and fun. The path you’ve chosen to follow in life is a special one perfectly suited to you. I’ll offer fair winds before you set sail again and wish for calm waters in the anchorage for now. Hope the trek to the mountain top is epic!

In the future for that anchor locker you could put a hard floor in it above the waterline. In this way you can have dry storage under it in the V birth and the locker can just drain itself through the hull with a drain (on port and starboard sides) with no pump or power needed. We did this on a friends 26 foot Bristol. It was a bit of glass work but it worked out very well.

Very resourceful, fun video, just one suggestion, when you make electrical connections put shrink tubing on and you will create a more water resistant connection. The stuff is very cheap and easy to use. Will stop corrosion at the connection more. That's of course if the tubing is available. See you next week, better luck with the wifi search.

Its good to see you having fun with your projects, In your anchor locker with wet chain and wiring, please wrap the butt splices with electrical tape or use shrink tube another good trick is to use dielectric grease on all the butt connectors and ring terminals and terminal blocks. corrosion is bad. Love your tan, Good use of a sheet in your cockpit!

I've read a couple cycling touring books and there was the same sentiment about getting out of the 'tourist towns' that if a tourist city the relationship of the visitors and natives is about kind of a money/begging, but it was so much different in the non-touristic.

Hi, Holley not sure but in looking at the front v in your chainplate locker your water issues may be those front bolts leaking. Anytime you have a stain like that indicates water is leaking past. It's always easy to identify look at the direction of the stain. I had my shroud chainplates leak a ton into my bilge and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from removed some woodwork and saw big stains dripping down from the plates, was quite a lot to fix took me a day or so. Fair winds

I admire your courage and tenacity.. Well done, great stuff..Why not put a small hole through the side of the hull and seal the bulkhead completely so the water cannot get into the boat. you can get a stainless fitting for the outside to create a ventury.
