This video covers the humble origins of the legion that will later be named "the most effective" by Emperor Nero. The 14th Legion will gain a series of titles along the way, and will soon become known as "Legio XIIII Martia Gemina Victrix"; Mars' victorious twinned 14th Legion. Mars, being the Roman God of war. The 14th Legion is also one of the longest surviving Legions of Rome, loyally serving the empire for over four hundred years.

In part 2, The 14th will completely change its fate and win victory after victory, until it will one day be named the "most effective legion" by Emperor Nero, and win other titles, being later known as: "Legio XIIII Martia Gemina Victrix", Mars' victorious twinned 14th Legion (Mars is the Roman God of war). Just like they’re doing with House of the Dragon now by rushing through the story and even blatantly changing it to make it cheaper to produce. HBO should never be the standard, it’s like you people forget why they cancelled Rome. Because that company is known for refusing to invest a significant budget in to a project. Regarding the numerical use of XIIII over XIV. There's numerous examples of the the former usage. In the Israel Museum one can see a 90 CE Latin tablet inscription of a Roman soldier being honorably discharged, within it a clear example of 'VIIII' is being used.
