Fine man and statesman, Prince Turki al-Faisal, discussing some of the most important and serious moments in recent history.
Lol.
What country instigates war
and will panic if “peace” breaks out around the world?
Hasn’t the US been exposed
for funding protests in Hong Kong,
Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia
in Africa and in other countries
for no other purpose than to block China’s investments & global rise?
Why are we pouring billions into weapons,
supplying weapons to the countries currently at war to kill civilians?
Why aren’t we investing all this taxpayers’ money back into our country’s infrastructure
to build a better place for people to live?
You mean dad you really believe this puppet is somebody this guy is nobody he dance whenever uncle Sam telling him
Fine man? This man should be before a court for human rights violations himself. Another criminal.
His highness knows more about Bush's relation with Laden, as he admits Bush invited Alquida to UN/US, implying he was party to 9/11 and Afghans were not.
Listening to this man is so refreshing after listening to any of the government representatives of the USA and the truth is the US news media outlets are always putting these type of people down because they are not US citizens and it's sicking ........
Saudi Arabia was one of the entities behind 9/11 and helped fund it
@@BlakeAlexander12 no it didn’t
USA media is racist. No surprises.
@@BlakeAlexander12 Google is free and you have a brain you can use it sometimes instead of being racist as usual.
@@user-mj8kl2ig7p yes it did ‘lol’
As an Iraqi, I salute Prince Turki Al-Faisal for his brilliant ideas and way of thinking, and I wish the Arab countries to benefit from such men and not to depend on corrupt politicians.
Were you smoking weed when you wrote that comment?
@@Englsh129 I wrote this comment expressing my opinion, my real name and my picture, and not like a cowardly person hiding behind a fake name and without an identity
@@norikkrikorian3366 Safeguarding your identity doesn’t make you a coward. Whats makes you a buffoon is when you in your right senses praise an utterly yet proudly self-righteous “Prince” (thief) who serves only himself and his family and has his hands dripping with the blood of many innocents. These are the same people starving millions in Yemen. He’s trying to save you face by saying you must be high to say such BS, especially considering you’re Iraqi.
@@zm7430 I answered the first person because he is stupid and a coward, but you are superior to him by being rude and a coward,, Read my reply 10 times a day before lunch,As I wrote a comment and said my opinion, so do you, I am not ready daily to respond to a hateful and sick person And especially the idiots
I concur with your statement. I don’t believe Mohamed bin Salman will learn from this.
Oh man, Prince Al-Faisal is one of those guys that I could listen to for hours on end. A real elder statesman. I hope for an audiobook version of his book, spoken by His Highness himself!
Interesting suggestion
And I assume he won't refuse such experience
prince turki is ALWAYS a joy and well spent time to listen to.
Awesome interview it's always interesting to listen to foreign leaders and hearing their points of view on well known global issues!
Yes. It is cleansing what we know. I believe media has ruined all facts I lost its credibility.
Is Absolute Monarchy a better form than American Military Industrial Weapons Complex Hegemon With Ever Changing Democratic Presidential Elections.
Well spoken and decent man. Big props to the interviewer too who showed excellent knowledge and did an very good job with the interview 👏
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Saudi Regime is criminal regime
Saudis, with all the money, couldn't even make "Nothing"
Not a pin, not a drone, not an atomic bomb .Not even a peace deal .
@dannyx27 He is a decent man.
Excellent knowledge? No counter questions not touching on especially human rights abuses in Saudi and spreading of wahabbist terrorists. Well for a toddler she might seem knowledgeable.
I love it when the word "ya'ani" just slips out of his mouth
What does that mean?
@@glennmorris25 the term "like" in English, mostly used by teenaged americans, is the equivalent to "ya'ani" in arabic.
Peace y'all 🇮🇱
@علي الفردان well that's a shame...but hey guess what? If you don't respect someone, don't expect to be respected back....
✌️
@علي الفردان oh gosh..pls don't start with your crying again man..u can maybe fool the idiot liberal students in the U.S with that crap, between me and u..we both know the truth man..grow up already
@علي الفردان ah..sure bro.. whatever u say..
Look i see u r in the mood for crying, as usual.. excuse me but I have to work, while u guys spent your time wipping and crying we were busy building a flourishing country.
Ciao habibi
Best interview of the year. It's so rich of information and historical insights on Afghani issue. Excellent guest and excellent interviewer.
I’m very impressed with the interviewer. Smart, intelligent relevant questions. Prince Turki’s vast experience and perspective is also fascinating.
Are you being sarcastic? A real reporter is supposed to ask tough questions like if Iran attacked that Japanese tanker in the gulf then why did the Iranian navy rescue the crew? That’s what a real reporter would ask.
@@davidcanatella4279 Not being sarcastic at all. Just tired of interviewers, esp. on NPR which is all I listen to (so maybe it’s not just them), asking clearly “planted/preplanned/synchronized” questions. Like out of the blue, they’ll ask about a very specific detail, so specific you know it’s not a spontaneous question, and the interviewee never misses the beat and says, “oh yes, bla bla bla”. Clearly both sides had agreed on the questions and topics beforehand
@Between Lamp&post Excellent, hopefully, one day, I’ll reach your level of evolved sophistication.
@Christian It’s definitely not just them
@Between Lamp&post No worries, I’m glad I won’t reach your delusional heights!
I like this prince he like his dad, he knows how to talk and knows his stuff.
💕🇮🇷💕
Dude what are you talking about this guy Is a puppet he’s dead was a puppet too and you are a puppet because you like this puppet🤓🙀🤫
@@jasemshohany7248 You guys are full of inferiority complex towards Saudi Arabians
your people’s religion is worshiping Arabian family form Saudi Arabia while at the same time you guys hate Arabs. Even your supreme leaders deny their ethnicity and claim that they from Arabian family.
We have nothing to do with your inferiority complex, its your inner issue. Your people chanting death to the West while at the same time begging western embassies to obtain immigration visas. These naive contradictions are embodied within Iranians. the West, Saudi Arabia has nothing to do with your psychological issues.
Prince Turki Al-Faisal is a seasoned statesman, the interviewer did an amazing job. It was a pleasure to watch a candid view of an important Suadi X-official and member of the Royal family about the US, Afghanistan, Iran and the world in general.

Great interview.. The prince seemed to be an encyclopedia of world politics, the Middle East and Afghanistan.. Much respect to the interviewer
Can the Japanese people sue US for Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombing?
@ȓhō Яя doesnt justify the using of nukes in japan. Only if US was nuked , they would know
If you are not informed, the US is legally bound to protect Japan military wise with a treaty signed after WW2, as well, Japan’s military capability is bound to be extremely limited within the agreements
@@godfather4047 you fool so starving millions is better then and more humane?
@ȓhō Яя Pakistan became a shithole because of making nuclear weapons, dummy. Up until 1988, Pakistan was one the fastest growing economies in the world.
Rest I agree, Japan can build up millitary in a couple of years.
Yes, America was forced to pay Japan for damages... but how could you possibly put a price on the innocent lives that were lost, and yes Pakistan became a "shithole" due to its pursue of nuclear weapons, due to sanctions put on them by the us, similar to the Venezuela oil sanctions, it seems that at the end of the day us foreign policy has more to do with finances then the safety of the American people
His English language is incredibly eloquence for a second language
@amirali khatame Stealing ? No, this is Iranian Mullah who rule Iranians for 40 years and the result is Iranians living in slumps and dreaming to obtain immigration western visas or working as blue collar in GCC countries.
@amirali khatame just listen to this elegant Arab price and try to learn. Nevertheless, I am 100% sure you won't learn a shit.
This is the person that you would listen to in a foreign affairs discussion; he is well versed in the subject and very diplomatic in discussing the issue.
Very insightful interview
A wonderful interview . Thanks.
This interview is crucial and has been made at a very significant moment. HRH Prince Turki al Faisal's narrative of events is spot on👍 .Exactly 40yrs ago The soviets invaded Afghanistan, His Majesty King Khaled was king and the news headlines at the time was Afghanistan and the mujahideen. My family had just arrived in Jeddah,.l was twelve yrs old. HIS Royal Highness was head of intelligence at the time. I can't wait to get a copy of your book. Saudi Arabia is blessed to have Prince Turki he is a walking Historical Encyclopedia . Sending you much love and Honour. God Bless you always.
Ajab khan khattak.Prince Turki bin Faisal was very frank, honest &articulate during q/a.He deserved to have been intelligence chief of ksa.Astonishingly,he seems to be a master in diplomacy.
So much humility while HRH talks

Great interview 👍🏼
Great interviewer and turky alfisal was truthful and transparent man I enjoyed the whole interview. Thanks
Such as clear and honest interview. He is allowed to speak in his own words. She asks very clear objective questions. Its about being transparent and truthful. This is great reporting and very informative, We need so much more of this type of coverage and from such witnesses to history. Thank you..
What a great speaking wise Prince. Very mesmerizing. Respect!

Monarchies work by succession, not elections. Do your research.
@Bijan Mehrpour
Nope, the king doesn’t get to choose the Crown Prince out of no where. There are certain protocols when it comes to changing the next king, and it is only applicable in certain situations that are too complicated to talk about here. Nevertheless, the King chose his son, he is the most fitted for the Crown… unlike the previous crown prince who was an american puppet
I always remember how my dad said to me when he was in the army back than in SFR Yugoslavia. He was Titos sailor, serving on Brijuni islands. Every day they had this education class where they would read and discuss about situation in the world. My dad did the reading most of the time and that day in september of 1980s, his commander said to him to read the todays news and it stared with the Iraq - Iran war, after the reading on that topic, my dad's comment was "It's not good, not good at all, brother took arms against another brother, and it is gonna be a carnage". It was kind of a foreshadowing since couple of months back Tito died and all of the army of Yugoslavia needed to arm up and be ready for the war for couple of days. Sad world we live in...
Love the way he is providing his assessments on the current political affairs!!
🤴 Prince impressive as diplomat 👏

I agreed that the world should help the Afghanistan people it's been more than 40years of war they deserve to have peace and safety and security.
prince turki is among the last few men of such a calibre standing in the coming few decades

What a day that he remembers , that I left a day or two before ....
Excellent interviewer
Amazing interview. Very informative.
Lovely interview with a lot of knowledge and wisdom.
his new book. THe Afghanistan File is excellent
Prince Turki AlFaisal is a remarkable figure, wise and intelligent, he runs the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, a 40+ years old respected institution, that houses a great collection of ~30 thousands valuable Arabic manuscripts, I have the privilege to visit and benefit from this center and to regularly obtain their academic publications
Great interview. What he had to say about their oil reserves shows that there is very little chance of us staying under 3 degrees warming.
Looking forward to reading the Royal Highness' tentatively titled book "Afghanistan Files", just hopeing it is affordably priced !
Reading that book will kinda feel incomplete, for obvious reasons, but I am sure it will still be insightful!!!!!
King Faisal Rahimullah was a man of integrity and honour.
Interesting conversation
Indeed. One of the finest statesmen Saudi Arabia has ever produced. He is the son of one of the wisest kings and the brother of the most sophisticated foreign ministers Saudi Arabia ever had.

One sided narrative from a Saudi/US perspective. He has Saudi and US interests at heart and this clearly comes out from the interview. Good interview, atleast she asked the uncomfortable issue with Jamal.
Lol, which side did you expect him to present except the Saudi perspective? 😂😂😂

This is man in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Long live Prince Turki Al Faisal.
Very US interest centric view of world history and foreign policy strategy!
Saudi centric view as expected. And Saudi is a US ally.
I love saudi arabia 🇵🇸❤🇸🇦
As a Turkish Australian I wish he was the president of turkey. He is such a smart man
“Yani” is his favorite word it seems! Cracked me up every time he said and it seems he has no control over it and it just comes out by itself 🤣 it means “so” or “well” , “namely” for those who are not familiar with the word and scratching your head every time he says it!
All Arabs use this word frequently. This world is also used in Turkish and Urdu.
It also means “ meaning or mean “
I like it a lot. No question about it, he is well versed.
His love and confidence in his own language though speaking English excellently.🔅
Thank you
Every aspiring diplomate should listen to the way the prince handles the questions, some of which are not innocent I might add: With class, facts, and a smile. Chapeau bas!
He speaks better English than me

I really don't get his message ? What 8s he trying to explain or enlighten us of ?
Hasn't Kabul been liberated
from a 20-year unwanted foreign occupation?
Feb 2020, the US agreed to complete the evacuation by May 2021.
Hasn’t the US not only invaded Afghanistan for 20 years
to replace the Taliban with the ‘Taliban’?
While "cleaning up" the mess in Afghanistan is still under way
what country’s vice president is visiting Asia
strengthening its strategic structure around China
with the sole purpose of containing China?
Alqaeda and Saudi Arabia what is the difference
I'm healed.
This guy is master of creating smoke screens!!!
A very brilliant old Prince with a deep intellect.
I think Saudi is best in my opinion.
Incompetent is the word . How long were we in Europe after world War II
