  • This way of adding zips to cushion covers gives a neat look to the back of the cover, and is simple to acheive. The two ways are one from each side of the cover and into the seam, the other is when the cushion has a flange so the zip doesn't reach the edges.

Wonderful, thank you for sharing this method. What a great idea to use up odd color or length zippers! Stay warm and safe.

Hi Debbie, love your videos. Although I have a question about this one. To do the zip with the flap covering the zipper you don’t say anything about cutting the fabric length for the back. Need your input Please.

Thanks for a lovely tutorial Debbie. I was confused re the fabric sizes. Yours looked both the same size. But your finished cushions had the zip a third of the way down? And I didn’t know what you meant about (7.08 mins), putting the front on? TIA

Having just made 2 cushions and had the zip up higher on the back , was disappointed that the flap opened. I will now have to hand stitch down which wasn't the initial intention . Loved the idea though.😊

While nice to see method, but for demo. purposes fabric was too soft, and could have had more obvious right and wrong sides.
