    The instrument panel looks like the dash from a 1940's car. Pretty cool.

    One of the big things I’ve enjoyed while watching various CZcams sites has been just listening to comms and the way each pilot communicates be it Stevo, Jason, cops, boldmethod or y’all.

    what is Zulu used at the end of the time and also some uses whiskey.. what does those mean??

    • @JacksonHallman
      @JacksonHallman Před 5 lety +2

      zulu is a standard time used across the world the make sure you dont get confused on time and Whiskey is a code given in the weather so you can tell the atc you have the latest weather. The first call you give to ATC you include the letter code they give you in this example it was Whiskey and ATC knows you have the most up to date weather. THis updates about ever hour or if theres large changes can update sooner. Hope that helped you!

    I believe your estimate of Zulu time is off just a bit. You need only add 5 hours to arrive at 07:20 local. Cool plane.

      0220Z is 2620-4 = 2220 or 10:20PM in Miami today. Later in the year, it would be 9:20 PM due to Daylight Savings.

      Greenwich, England is where GMT is calculated from (thus Greenwich Mean Time)... England is ahead of the USA in the time of day, so you subtract (not add) to get you local time Zulu. The number of hours subtracted is dependent on the time zone in which you are located. Going from East Coast to West, each new time zone subtracts another hour.
