Update: 8/28/2019 - this tent is still going strong. I have taken it camping and on numerous hunting trips. It has survived a number of rain storms and handled them all easily. No leaks or tears even though I haven't exactly treated it delicately.
For a quick trip to the family campsite, this is a great tent. It is easy to set up (and break down) and the price is right. I bought this from Amazon for $60 but you can find this tent at your local sporting goods store as well.

I snapped a pole on my 4 person Coleman Highline tent. Since my 2 person and 6 person Sundome tents have worked so well for years, I thought I’d check out a review for the 4 person Sundome. Your review popped up and I’m glad I watched. Informative for those who don’t know about the Sundomes, entertaining for those of us that do. Subbed and thumbs up, mahalo bruddah! A tip concerning airflow: I use these to camp in Colorado in the late summer, and it can get down into the 30s sometimes in late August. Stake the guy lines for the rain fly close to the tent and it helps.

I've reached the point where sleeping on the ground or a small air mattress no longer works. I bought this tent and a Coleman Comfortsmart Deluxe Cot to solve that issue. During my practice setup I was confused about the rain fly and the Coleman official video was no real help. You went into much better and usable detail. Thank you. BTW, the cot/tent combo appears to be perfect, leaving room for gear and I like the abundance of ventilation.

I use it for backpacking, only because I'm like 6ft 4 and got a strong back. I love this tent model
I suppose at 6'4" there aren't many options in the tent department for you. Happy to hear it all works out, however. The tent really spoils you with its quick setup and takedown, although I honestly can't imagine lugging it around for any lengthy distance. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. :)

so third video for me lol this is the funest one. I have an extra cord bendie thingy I have no idea what to do with. Its little and smaller round than the larger ones that go over the tent. I'm thinking maybe it's a baby cord bendie thingy growing up to be a big cord bendie thingy. Not sure. Still the same I have no idea what to do with it. Thanks for making this fun lol.

i have this and was in a rain storm with very little trees to block the wind , it held up great , no water entered the tent

Nice review! I've been looking at this tent to replace a smaller tent. Getting older so I think I'm going to get a cot to sleep on and need a larger tent than what I already have. Looking at the Coleman ComfortSmart Deluxe cot. Thanks again for covering the basics in under 4 minutes!

"Getting older" and "cot to sleep on" is exactly why I bought this tent. Just setting it up in the living room for practice and found this video to help figure out the rain fly. Also purchased the same cot. It fits well inside the tent and I've already slept on it several nights. Gonna be a great setup.

Good car camping tents. Seam Sealer works. a 10x10 $10 blue tarp on top of this makes it indestructible from the elements. Of course, it's not a backpacking tent.

One 'normal' person can easily set up this tent.
I suspect that by *4 person* the tent industry means: IF one ONLY put 4 people in... with NO EQUIPMENT or NO extra space ... it could hold 4 actual people.
Practically speaking... this tent holds 2 people with space for gear quite nicely.
It also has better than decent headroom... plus it stood up well in a strong rain.
I think this tent is a gem of a summer tent.

Can a queen size air mattress fit inside ?
Would you say this is too much to carry for overnight hike? Thinking about getting this one because it’s less expensive than the smaller versions lol. I don’t plan to hike and camp very much. Most likely will do those separate, however would like to do so if I get the chance.
Edit: okay I take it back. The Amazon weight was off (good thing the kg were also listed). 9 pounds is a bit heavy I’d think. Although I’ve carried textbooks heavier than that I’m sure :)

How much does this weigh
Sorry for the delay. The entire tent with everything in the carry bag is just under 10 lbs. Not too bad for lugging around short distances but might be too much for a lengthy hiking trip.

Such an instrument, by decree of Tribal Elders, can only be powered through personal and spiritual energy (it's really because we experience frequent power outages back home).
I'll be happy I don't have to pay hundreds of dollars for a hotel room.
