- Learn how to cancel your Amazon prime membership or free trial to avoid being chrged in future.
When you cancel amazon prime, you will keep the amazon account but you will lose the benefits of Amazon prime.
This is also used to cancel Amazon Prime free trial in case you don't feel like you want to pay a subscription after the free trial period is over.
How To Cancel Amazon Prime | Script:
Log in to your amazon account at amazon.com
Click on Account and Lists
Click on 'Prime' button to show your amazon Prime membership details.
Click on 'Membership' and from the drop down, click on 'End membership'.
'Remind Me Later' option lets you use your current Amzon prime subscription and will remind you to cancel before you're charged again.
'Cancel My Benefits' will cancel your Amazon prime membership and benefits immediately.
If you're required to enter your password, please do!

If you try to cancel your membership and you log into the wrong region, for example US instead of Canada, it will make you go in circles but will not tell you what the issue is. Also they make it impossible for you to contact Customer Service by not providing a phone number.

As of this year, Amazon is raising my monthly fee from $12.99 to $14.99. I received an email notifying me. In the email, they also informed me that my annual fee was being raised from $119 to $139 a year. I wasn't even aware I had an annual fee. I've had the service less than a year, and never even used any of the extra "benefits". Needless to say, I will be canceling my membership 3 days before it renews. Thanks for your video showing me how. 😀

It should be illegal to charge people automatically without asking first And then making it automatic renewal when all the person did was sign up for the free trial.

I got out of my trial a little while ago and instead of "End membership" on the membership page, it says membership will end on a specific date, because I'm still on the free trial. Should I be concerned about this? Is it going to keep me on prime until I cancel it? Or will I be done with the trial after for sure?

No. It's one free trial per account. But after 6 months, you can get a new free trial on the same account.

Contact support for that! But ideally, you're supposed to cancel before the next billing cycle!

Let it remind you three days before it charges you again for you to cancel. Also add a reminder to your phone in case they 'conveniently' forget to remind you.
It wouldn’t let me end my membership so I just removed my payment methods (cards)

It says that removing your payment option will not affect your monthly subscriptions (I tried that too). So although you removed your cards money will still be taken out to pay for Prime. You have to cancel the subscriptions my guy.

I got a question so I ended the membership today and today is 2/15/2021 so then it’s telling me it will end on March 17 2021 will that mean that on those weeks that passes by my credit card will still be charged until March 17?
