Owned the exact same car in same spec but tuned by gt tunerz. Extremely reliable with supercar levels of performance. Best part is the fuel economy with an unbelievable 22kmpl on highways and 12 in bangalore city traffic. Ran it for 1.6L kms and upgraded. Still miss my a6 3.0 tdi. Now looking for an a7 3.0 tdi.
Didnt the gearbox give issues? The gearbox in this drivetrain tends to give up so early
@@virginridesindia mechatronics replaced once at audi after 8yrs. Had done around 1.1L kms that time.
I am happy the clutch held up. Audi 3 litre diesel with quattro on A7, A6 and Q5 is the best drivetrain out there
How did you possibly get 22KMPL on the highways,whereas i barely get 13KMPL on the highways when i cruise
@@ankritsaikia7021 I was running quantum tuning map with 3 inch downpipe, egr delete and mufflers delete. At constant 100kmph on cruise control it goes up to 25kmpl. I would cruise at around 130 and get 22kmpl.
Imagine getting 12kmpl in bangalore city traffic. Even swift owners don't get over 10 here.
My friend has stock a6 3.0 tdi. He gets max 15kmpl on highways.
After remapping all my cars I can confidently say that there's a huge increase in fuel efficiency after getting free flow exhaust + remap.
Same with my 530d and polo 1.5 tdi
One advantage of TDI engine when you upgrade exhaust system is you get smoke screen as standard to avoid cops😂😂😅

Guys please try to bring in a Mk1 Octavia diesel on your channel sometime. I’ve seen various Vrs’s on the channel but not the diesel. Would love to see if there are any tuned 1.9TDI ALHs.
Mk1 octavia diesel aint at all powerful.

Also i think you might have driven some fourth owner example from Olx. “ALH” my friend is one of if not the most reliable german motor ever made. I’ve clocked over 1,96,000kms in my car and yet not even a tiny bit of smoke you would see coming out. Forget about summers even in winters my car puts my neighbours’ petrol cars to shame.(They always jokingly say to me that they don’t think i have a diesel motor in my car). Also the expensive parts thingy that you quoted.. first of all there are Hardly..HARDLY.. any parts that break in these engines. I agree that they are not that strong when it comes to the electricals but ALH was the most basic no nonsense german engine to come to our shores. You can even run it on Sunflower oil dude. It’s indestructible. It never returns me below 20 in the city conditions and out on the highway it even beats my two wheeler in terms of efficiency. Also not even a bit if turbo lag is there in the car. I know On paper 90hp doesn’t look that impressive but the way VW has tuned it. Man oh man. that thing puts a smile on my face everytime i give it even a tiny bit of throttle. The Torque lower down is so unreal that you just couldn’t ask for anything more in the city. ALH my frnd is way different from the PD and CR. Sorry to dissapoint you brother but your autmotive knowledge is very much confined! Stop watching youtube and judging cars. Try your hands on a well kept example someday and we’ll talk..

@@aldrinpabraham6932 bro that's what they say for these models. The a8l v8 60tdi has 900nm with this gearbox. Tot stage 3 setup would've also tuned the gearbox. That's how it will hold this much tq.

Off course its your asset and Tuning cars is an art but where will you use 400Hp on Indian roads, Rather than tuning the engine of an A6 3.0 TDI which is such a reliable engine block to drive. I would rather upgrade the engine to a BS6-Comliant vehicle even if the Specific output reduces by 10 to 15% of what it has. Do you people have any official training or experienced engineers who have working with 3.0 TDI Engines.

@@TheDriversHub we have one in Durgapur West Bengal however it needs some maintainance there are holes and damage on the runway but if fixed can be best for drags its length is 1.19kms
