There are 3 W12 for sale here in Sweden. Cheapest one is a A8 LONG 2008, for rougly $11k USD. The most expensive is a 2012 Long version, with 500hp and looks so bad ass for roughlt $25k usd.
I want to make 1 thing clear because i heard it too many times now, the AUDI V10 Engine in the S8 S6 RS6 and ALL Gallardo V10s is an Original AUDI Engine and NOT a Lamborghini or a Gallardo Engine! AUDI developed that V10.
One big problem with these cars is that they are super expensive to own. Almost everything you want todo is engine out... and that is a time consuming thing, and all the parts are very expensive. So that is why these cars are so cheap, and leaking oil and misfire is 2 common and expensive to repair things they have.
It doesn't have a Gallardo V10. This myth has been expounded for years. The Lamborghini engine is a 5 litre, the Audi has an Audi 5.2 litre engine which is based on the design of the Lamborghini, but has a completely different bore and stroke, and different valve train. Also, the Audi has a much lower rev limit. In short the two engines are completely different. Gallardo 5 litre V10 has 492 bhp, the Audi 5.2 litre only has 429 bhp...quite a sizeable difference. Lamborghini build the 5 litre, and Audi build the 5.2 !!
That is true, but at the end of the day, this engine comes from a unified manufacturer; therefore, it shares some similarities. This engine was detuned for this car.
Well, from my understanding this 5.2L engine was later used in Gallardo, and also in the V10 Audi R8 which also had a 5.2L . Or the block that is. Also the exhaust seem to limit the car a lot. There is a danish guy with this car, and he just modified the stock engines parts, and have right now 500hp, and its doing 0-100kmh 2 secs faster than stock.
In Transporter 2 Statham drove a 6.0 W12... not a 5.2 V10
It's pretty rare to find a 6.0L W12. This is a close example!

Yes you heard it correct , this Audi has an Audi Engine that got used in a Lamborghini as well. I repeat , its an AUDI engine
