Seeing him play sax right before ‘he who shall not be named’ went on for his dank dubstep set. I never knew it could fir so nicely with dubstep.
That was 2013
Grizmas in July 2021, right after Rainbow Brain came out! Even though night 2 got delayed and rained out after like 30 min, it was still such a magical experience

I grew up in East Lansing just down the road from MSU, and I remember sneaking into Montie House back in high school to go see Grant DJ and he blew my mind back then when I was just getting into electronic music. I have so many awesome memories of seeing Grant play at Macs and around EL! He is def one of my biggest electronic influences to this day! Your music has only gotten better over the years and thank you so much for spreading such a positive message! You really are a hero to a lot of people, myself included, so thank you for being you! Griz is the real deal, he is genuinely kind-hearted, also, I've been to many many Griz shows, but his first RR headline was my first RR show, it was incredible

Bonnaroo, 2023, the bonus Chasing the Golden Hour set that replaced Rainbow Kitten Surprise who couldn't make it. One of the best sets I've ever been to
That shit was such a vibe both his dubstep set and his cgh set were the first times seeing him and he’s just been unbeatable in my top listened artists every since
I watched his rise from 2012 in onward. So thankful and honored to have been apart of some of his shows especially the Electric Forest appearances. Take all the time you need man we will all be here when you return
Those early days must have been awesome to witness, I first found out about him/saw him in 2015
Saw him in 2013 and no idea who he was. It was such a special set in such hard dubstep times
I saw him open up the side stage at a local show in Vancouver back in 2014 and it was my first big show, I did homework on all the DJs playing and he was one of the acts I was most excited to see, I fell off the bass scene for years and didn’t start liking it again until paradiso 2018 at the gorge, last year was my first time seeing Griz since 2014 and it was the most insane set I’ve ever seen in my life, so much soul and work went into that set and everyone in that crowd was just so happy it was the most surreal feeling being in the pit, I love you Griz, I will be front and centre for that first show back ❤

Straight up! His newer dubstep stuff is insane, but his more soulful stuff stands out more
Fun Fact: @15:11-15:14ish, the dude with the sparkly hat, sunglasses and gold jacket in the bottom left of the frame…is ME 😎 I’ve seen Griz 8 or 9 times, and he just gets better and better as the years go on. Love this doc as well as the whole channel-keep up the great work!!!

I was at the 2020 Okeechobee show and it was a killer set! He calls out Nectar at one point right before he dropped, I think it was, Bass Head. Phuking sikkkkk

I'm so happy for Grant to get a much needed rest.hope his return is less then 5 years but if it is my ears will be waiting
I imagine his break will be only a few years at most, but I guess we just have to wait and see

@@PLFBEZ Yeah after a while I wasn't sure if PL would ever come back. I think GRiZ's situation is a lot different than PL's though, he probably just wants to chill for a while until he gets bored and decides to come back lol. I think I saw somewhere that he said he's still gonna work on music during his break, so maybe he'll drop some random stuff on soundcloud before he makes an official comeback.

I didn’t even know he was gay until this video lol it’s crazy how such a big deal it is for some people and that not everyone is accepting of gay people especially back then it was something that people were made fun of for, I just can’t imagine dealing such low blows to someone’s self esteem
