I love the 109s so much. The G10 is so amazing. Definitely one of my top favorites. K4 though I like a bit more for the slightly extra speed but I love this plane regardless

Thanks for flying this! I struggle a bit in it against the spits and I'm not very good at getting the guns on targets.
gotta be very disciplined with spitfires around ;) the aim is getting used to giving more lead, their lower velocity compared to 50 cals and hispanos

I find this plane so much fun to fly! It's actually my favourite bf109, even though I haven't played a bf109 in ages since i have been grinding in the american tech tree and also great vid!
dont only grind, give yourself the pleasure to enjoy some of your favorites enough as well ;)
Well I'm using the bearcat which I do enjoy flying a lot! The problem is you get sooooo many matches on Hokkaido and the griffon spitfires are insane.

At about the same time you were producing this video, I decided after almost 2 years, to take out the F4U1-c American fighter/ground pounder out for a spin. Like so many, I try to avoid flying American planes, and love my German panes. Boy!! Was I ever surprised. With those 4 x20mm cannons I found I can take out anything, in real short order. Whether it is ground targets, bombers or fighters, it chews them up and spits them out in no time. In fact, a lot of my favourite planes have a great deal of difficulty taking down the German bomber Do-217 before getting shot down by its rear gunner. With this plane, I am able to take that bomber down before even its AI gunners have time to train on me. One thing I learned a few years ago, (because Gaijin is always messing with the guns), depending on which tier it is, dictates where I set my convergence. tiers 1 to 3, I keep the convergence at 300. Tier 4 = 400m, and tier 5 = 500m. So, with the convergence set at 300m for the C, and using the default belt, this plane really kicks butt. Your viewers should consider, in Gaijin's infinite wisdom, on a lot of planes, the default belt is the exact same belt as the universal or even ground targets on some planes. Therefore, why pay 140 (or even double that on some planes) lions per refill for the universal, when you can choose the default for free and, have the exact same belt as the universal. Anyway, that is what I am currently using on the F4U1-c. 300m convergence and default belts and I am kicking butt with it.
That reminds me to fly it again soonish as well :)

I consider Bf-109s the most elegant of all WT planes. Even smashing a building looks cool ;).

Simulator Battles are the best by far. Hard comprehend how anyone would want to play from a point of view outside the aircraft rather than in the cockpit. Wish more people played Simulator.
I understand Luke, but consider this: The Sim crowd is niche, its too complicated for most ppl. Gaijin with M&K controls managed to give ppl the feeling their flying a plane. This is magic, and it will contribute to enlarging the Sim crowd as well. And make the game profitable.
That last match just about gave me a heart attack when you crashed. :) Wasn't expecting that. That looks like a good plane, but my wife is Dutch and I don't think she'd approve of me flying German planes - even in a game. :)
Just wanted to say, I was looking at the review of the HE112 you did just now, and I'm surprised there are so many planes around that never actually flew in action, yet there is no Westland Whirlwind as far as I can see. A really beautiful plane IMO.
sorry i gave you a scare there ;) German planes are quite enjoyable, i wouldnt skip them because of something that happened 72 years ago. It's just a game about history now. Im dutch too btw :)
I figured you probably were Dutch, there is a definite accent.:) Though the missus heard your voice and said not from her part of the Netherlands. But her parents both went through the Hongerwinter. So there is some feeling there. Hell, if my dad was still alive I probably couldn't fly Japanese planes either :). Not too worried about your crashes, it's mine that'll probably see me off. What a way to go :).

The only annoying thing when flying this is when you have most of your team full of bombers and you have 1 or 2 fighters with you. So unless your an insane pro or your opponent is dumb, those matches are annoying
true, but very good for improving your piloting skills!
Reclines at 850kmh? Can't be right because this thing has been reclining for me before I even hit 800kmh. 790 is the redline. Must have changed it

How do I fly the g14? It has a high altitude engine but when I go to 20k ft (6500 meters) I feel so sluggish and at low altitude im slow, I also have trouble rolling at high altitude
as far as i understand it the g-14 is better at medium to low altitudes. I would sideclimb to 5000m then studie the battle and put yourself in a good position and work your way down. I have it on the to do list, so i'll fly it in the near future :)

I used to be a G-14 fan, but with the buffs to the K-4 and the 20mm option it, it would have to be the k-4 now ;)
There is something about your videos that makes flying planes sooooo easy, but the thing is, every time i jump in the g10 or g14 or g6 I ALWAYS GET KILLED VERY FAST OR I GET JUMPED BY A RANDOM SPITFIRE, WHAT SHALL I DOOOO PLEASE HELP JENGAR

yes, i believe thats true too, but if you're on medium altitude, which constitutes the majority of fights you can take that general distinction along.

they need more lead compared to the hispanos due to less velocity :)

K4 still better
K-4 has the best raw performance our of all Bf 109s. However, G-10, G-14, and G-6 have more flexibility since they can carry ground attack munitions. Which one is the best, depends on the scenario and what aircraft you're flying against.

That really shouldn't be the case, if they are correctly modeled. The G-10 and K-4 have practically identical empty weight, with the difference being slightly improved aerodynamics and more engine power on the K-4. So the K-4 should definitely have the better sustained turn rate.

k-4 is nice too thats for sure, i've always understood it that the g-14 is the most maneuverable of the late 109's and the k-4 the most powerfull, with the g-10 somewhere in between.
It is weird that ppl call the 109 agile, when the 51s turn better at every altitude...
deadlypineapple satsumas If you mean the P-51: well, try a Bf 109 G-2 or something on a P-51... P-51 will die real fast. If you use the 109 right, it is agile
