She's entitled to her opinion, just as you're entitled to yours. Do you watch Stewart Lee to make you laugh, or to make you feel like you're better than those who don't? She likely just didn't enjoy his brand of humour; that's no reason to make wild assumptions as to the nature of her existence. This is probably why people think all of Stewart's fans are up their own arses, and only like him so they can laud how 'smart' they are over everyone who has a different sense of humour
Maybe they think because Stewart is very far up his is own arse, certainly when he drives on in his tedious articles in the Guardian. Brilliant comedian though. The dour-faced woman in the video is actually his wife.
Strangely enough, none of us need to rewatch an old Stewart Lee routine to feel better then you, but it does make it marginally funnier.

I wouldnt walk out on this guy, even if he slightly offended me occasionally, which is the worst he's ever done. In truth get his whole comedy persona, and I admit that there is truth to what he says about under 40s like myself. Robbie Williams hasn't always bugged me, but I hate it when someone gives an official excuse that isnt true. I also hate that Robbie has now sold himself out to X Factor...not that it shocks me, I'm still more upset with Ricky Wilson and Boy George becoming talent show douches.
