Ok, i opened 30 games.... 3 times i found caverns of frost, 27 times it was icefall caves... 1 of 3 times, Chiltara was in the caverns of frost... and then the gem finally dropped.... NOT! OFC... Screw that shit.... it took me like half an hour to even find Chiltara... if it goes on like this, it should take me 10 hours to get the stone "statistically".... but at least i got 4 gelatinous sires and many other goblins, gave me like 500 Death Breath.... so its ok Edit: After this comment, i tried again and after 2 runs i got the Stone!!!! omg 2nd Edit: After identifying my legendaries, i got a primal amulet that i need for my support monk in the same run as i found the gibbering gemstone.... luck is on my side today!
So I finally received the gemstone. It felt like it took forever but it actually took only an hour. Still a real PITA to have to start and restart my console. I did start upping the torment which I believe helped. It’s amazing how long it takes to get certain items. I could see how discouraging this could be for some players, not me bc I have serious OCD lol but I could see how some would say forget it. In fact my husband stopped playing the game bc he thought that he had pretty much received everything and advanced as far as he could. Then he was watching me play one day and learned that they had primal ancient legendary items which he had never come across. He was so frustrated. His comment was, if they would drop these items sooner, it would probably keep people like myself playing. I could definitely understand his point.
Found ALL of them after a 4 hour grind. This is the best guild you can find that is still up to date for Season 14! I got a s*** tone of goblins of all kinds, 1 Puzzle Ring, 2 portals to the vault, and a portal to Whimsdale! The only thing I have to say about Whimshire is that it isn't as big of a hull as its' newer counterpart. But now off to farm the wings and Port Frame! ( I am running on Torment 13 and was able to find everything.... Eventually)
I went to the ice cavern I didn’t get the gibbering stone but instead a portal to which I thought was a treasure goblin vault portal My fate was taken to the cow queen herself and her cow army made me pay for entering her domain lol
just to make sure maybe stupid question but ( hunting for portrait ) if u get the super awesome pony or the evil oliver you dont have to farm all the places after bc you get one "purple spawn" / try , i just did like 100 times and i just realized i dont have to go all the way if u get the purple spawn in the beginning .
The liquid rainbow dropped for me in normal, adventure mode. i just re rolled until the map in Dalguar Oasis' bounty said mysterious cave. Found the mystery chest in level 1 of the cave.
I’m going insane whilst trying to find the fucking mushroom.I practically gave up and striked a deal with my dad to share his mushroom with me once I found a gibbering gemstone-Which is fucking ridiculous as well because I can’t seem to spawn chilatra
Here is what I did to get gibbering gemstone. I reloaded the game until I got the Caverns of frost, or the Kill Chiltara bounty. Then I went to COF level 2, and killed Chiltara. I had to reload 60 times. I got the COF bounty 8 times (Chiltara appeared always), the Chiltara bounty 1 time. I killed C 9 times, and the gem dropped at last. Took me about 1 hour.
It seems things never change. Tried for the liquid rainbow over and over, I keep finding the boarded-up cave entrance but there's no guy outside so I can't get in. Edit: Amazing, the next attempt after posting this I found him, got in the cave, got the liquid rainbow!
Ahhhh me too im a wd chicken build and its been 2 days but i was doing bounties one day i went to clear caverns 2nd floor and accidently got the stone and i screamed.

Ive been farming this item over the time span of 6 years, about 4 months actually farming for the items. I have everything but the gem stone. Once upon a time I was farming the items with a couple friends and it dropped, everyone got it but me, it dropped, but no matter what i did, i couldn't pick the damn thing up.
I tried getting the Liquid Rainbow and Gibbering Gemstone today, thought it was gonna be easy because I got the 2 first ingredients in only 5-8 tries but ho was I mistaken, I've killed Chiltara for more than 4 times and have gotten to the cave of frost with 100% spawn of Chilatara right at the end you would think 1/7 times you have killed her you would get the Gibbering Gemstone at least for once but no I literally had to waste a half of my day just trying to get these two ingredients only to end up night time catching up to me, I tried to bump up the torment difficulty because I thought the drop rate would increase but it only made the whole thing close to being impossible, i'm mentally drained and i'm done for the day. (I hope I will get lucky tomorrow)
All of these were a pain in the ass but holy shit the Gibbering Gemstone took me three hours. Frost wouldn't spawn, Chiltara wouldn't drop it, lather, rinse, repeat.
Did Staff of Herding 1 day before Season 14 and 1 day after. Took me around 3 hours and 30 minutes both times to farm staff and Spectrum sword. So for all those wondering why you don't get certain drop's; keep farming, you will get everything eventually.
Whimsyshire is really only good for the portrait, the hamburger dagger skin, and the Spectrum sword skin. It's much easier to earn legendaries, experience, and gems through greater rifts/Horadric Caches.
the chance to fint a cave wich containes the box is less than 10%. and yet there is a chance to get the bottle . when u dont say so i dont know how great this video would be

Plans for Staff of Herding kill Izual at the Great Span act 4 , Black Mushroom Cathedral level 1 act 1 , Wirts Bell buy it from Squirt The Peddler at the Hidden Camp act 2 and the Gibbering Gemstone kill Chiltara in the Cavern of Frost level 2 on the Field of Slaughter after crossing the Bridge of Korsikk act 3 . Best to try on Adventure mode .
My luck has to be abysmal. I haven’t a clue the amount of time I’ve spent on this, but I’ve been able to farm 550 DB and 6 vaults on the frost cave and nothing has dropped and Chill doesn’t spawn half the time

I feel I should know what the answer to my problem is since I have played all three of the Diablo games, rather addicted to it some would say. So, I am having a problem with my game, I figured it is a bug but Blizzard won't reply and the question must tick a box in their system because when I try asking it in forum, I get booted and a message of "Suspicious Activity". It makes me go to my email to get a code to get access to the game again so I just quit trying the forum.lue. So, I hope you or one of the others know about this issue and have the answer as to why I can't play GR's anymore. I was able to do GR's without any problem and with all of my characters. One day about a month ago I went to do some runs and all of a sudden, I can't harm, let alone kill anything thus I get killed right away. I tried going in with each character and the story was the same. I set myself up for indestructible and kept trying but have given up on GR's for now. Any suggestions or ideas will be greatly appreciated. I have enjoyed your narrative and suggestions. Thank you for doing it so well. I am off to get the gibbering gemstone....Peace!

ok...I finally got it in normal, different tile set, no shrine in room but it had the mushroom growth on the ground.
Spent about a half hour in total farming and got everything, the RNG Gods were with me, thanks for the locations

Try normal difficulty for those items. It works. When i change the difficulty to normal, leoric's shinbone is right there.

Season 13, I found the cave and did not find the Mysterious chest on any level.
I did find a normal and replenished chests though.
Last season all item where freakin easy to drop but season17 is the worst its been one week and still not find that piece in act3.

Getting the gibbering gemstone is a pain..I spent 14 hours straight, taking only short breaks for food in and food out of body.
