I seen like two little clips and I've yet to see anything impressive. Standup is a brutal scene and I think Brendan can pull off the meathead TED Talk shtick, but as far as the art of stand up, I really don't see it being forgiving to his personality. He might be able to hang in there on looks, egomania, and personality for a bit, but stand up is a tough gig. To be a respected standup, is not something you can be thrown into.
When he states that, it is in reference to the dangers within the realm of professional MMA fighting. He was obviously not the best and a career of the fights he was in, could have seriously left to permanent damage.

i think its more so accessories that need to be checked, like clips that hold 30+rounds, bumpstocks, silencers etc. and people with histories of violence and mental illness and on no fly lists being able to get guns. America takes away your right to vote after prison but you can still get guns? seems silly to me. Also being able to buy privately or through gunshows with no background checks seems like a bad idea and conceal permits for anyone other than law enforcement or jobs that would require it like bodygurads seems like a bad idea as well.

When I trained, we hit the weights for at least 2 hours everyday but Wednesday with every other day alternating upper and lower body. Sunday was a light day with just body weight and isometrics. With a fasting day on the last Thursday of every month. Meaning no thanks giving during wrestling season but we got a two pound allowance after Christmas and new year's. We didn't know any better back then so weight cuts were always done with plastic trash bags and sweatpants and sweatshirt either running or hit the bike. But we had to weigh in right before our matches. No 24 hour to rehydrate. People died every year during weight cuts or during matches sometimes because of kidney failure. Thank God for sports science but we should bring back the "Bull in the ring". Just no more than 90 degree call out. and oversized pads for the target and no hit in the back
