- We visited Forfar Lochside site in March 2017. This is the 1st Caravan & Motorhome Club site we have ever visited, despite being Club members for nearly 2 years. It was fantastic. The site was immaculate. We will definitely visit this site again, and we will definitely visit more C&M Club sites in the future. The standard of this site far surpassed any site we have visited before.
Thanks Michael, all the info will help us to choose where we stay on our trip north
David Addis Great. Don’t rule out Redgates, especially if you’re coming north via the west coast. Enjoy your planning & have a great trip.
What a cracking site, looks so peaceful. Another one to add to the list. Thanks for sharing. ~ Rich.
(Get Your) Legs Down Cheers, Rich. Decided this year that we'd try C&M Club sites. This one set a high benchmark. It was great. Will certainly go back.
We opened this site for the club when they took it over and it looks fab now
Gail Cooper One of our favourites, Gail. We’re on a seasonal pitch now, but our video of Forfar Lochside reminds us of how much we enjoyed it there. Thank you
that was great and will be on the site to do list when we get back up that way keep up the great info videos
Trevor
(Get Your) Legs Down Thanks, Trevor. Thanks for taking the time to watch it & comment. It's my new favourite site.
A nice video Michael, what a spectacular Loch to back onto! Great to see a C & M Club site in Scotland, might have to visit there one day!
Looks like T-one and the boys had fun :)
MakeWayWithTheMorleys Cheers, Andy. Thank you. Great site. Always good to see other people's videos because we never know where our travels may take us over the years. As the children get older we venture a little further. 2017 looks as if it'll be a good year for 🇬🇧UK caravanning & touring on CZcams.
Great video keep up the good work
Buzz Thank you. I really appreciate that. 👍
Well done Michael, one to bear in mind if we ever "do" Scotland.
Martin Davies It's a long way for you folks further south, but we never know where the wind might blow us. It's good that social media can bring us 🇬🇧caravaners & tourers closer together even though the distance in miles is greater.
Loved this very informative video. We've yet to try a Caravan and Motorhome Park - you've sold me on the idea! I should think it will be a while before we venture up to Scotland but you never know. Keep up the good work
Home from Home with Lin & Rich Thank you, Lin & Rich. Yes, you should try a C&M Club site. I was really taken aback by how amazing the site was. The caravan bays are nice & wide and the site was spotless. You could do a video of your 1st visit to a C&M Club site. Thanks again. Michael
that was a good vid... think we will try and get there this year. cheers
Tim Leaning Cheers, Tim. Definitely worth a visit. Yes, we'll try to get back there this year too. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video & comment. Much appreciated.
Hi Michael, thanks for the look around Forfar site, can you give us an idea how it companies with Redgates, we are members of the CandM Club, so would be nice to know. Keep posting your site blogs they are most helpful. Pleased I found you through Caravan Gossip.
David Addis Hi David. We loved the Forfar site. Lovely big lake and a park for the kids. Redgates is great for the beach and nearby Culzean Castle. Redgates is very much a static holiday home caravan site with a new small touring area. I would definitely go back to both - no hesitation. They were both really good. The one thing I’d want to improve on with Redgates is the size of the pitches. They are a good size, but the Forfar site (& most other C&MC sites) are so wide - they’re great for caravan, awning & car, & are all stone chips. Our awning was on grass at Redgates. Some people like that, but when you get heavy rain for a few days in a row it can sometimes get wet. If I had to chose one, it would be a tight contest, but I’d go for Forfar. 👍
😎👍
Recommended by caravan gossip.. will be back love to tug up to scotland from kent need at least a couple of weeks
Victor Kent Thanks, Victor. It is a very long way, especially with a caravan in tow. Would love to head further south, but it’s difficult for me with a young family (although there are many ppl out there that go further).
and forgot yo say Great Dog do you call him T one dog ?
(Get Your) Legs Down T-dog on camera (not his real name). Although my real name is indeed Michael T, I decided to give our dog a CZcams name, and I also try not to mention the names of my children on social media.
