- With this quick lesson, David Jansen will go over some of the ways you can paint casual wildflowers and other flowers using acrylics. This lesson would also work in oils. We are starting a series called "brush-ups" which are fast and easy lessons to practice some of the techniques for flowers, landscapes, wildlife etc. Learn how to paint with acrylics. This is a sample of the format that we use to teach an online course.

Get well soon and isn't he just wonderful his art and the way that he teaches has kept me from having another stroke or heart attack it calms me I call it my nightcap at night I tried to paint a picture at night. And I'm able to go to sleep a lot easier get well soon

These brush-ups are great. No one is doing anything like this, so much content, instruction and variety in a short amount of time. In your previous brush-up you made what I think is a somewhat surprising admission - that you still practice. I hope that was not lost students of any level.
Yes Vincent, I practice all the time. If I take off from flowers for too many days, it takes a couple paintings to get the casual feeling back. Always practicing!

I'm so excited I had purchased I don't know how many 8x10s for the The Rose challenge. Home Depot cuts the wood for free they don't charge you for cut Lowe's is the most expensive and charges 249 a cut and same as zieglers I don't know if you people have any of that around you but I found home Depot to be the least expensive for you just pick your panel and they'll cut them for free you give them the size. So I'm super excited since I have a bunch of panels left thank you sir. This whole thing is just so exciting

Hi Janet, I made that with extender and Derivan acrylic thickener. I wrote Derivan if they have anything like our extender down there for you. I will let you know.
