Fuel economy is horrible @ 14.5mpg city and 15-17mpg hwy but that’s mainly due to the 64lb 285/65/20 nitto ridge grapplers. The stock 275/65/20 dynapro are 41lb.. much less rotating mass. Truck dyno’d 375rwhp 455rwtq on 93 octane, MPT PRX tune. From what I’ve read the downpipes don’t necessarily gain a whole lot of power but do allow turbos to spool up quicker.
Did you have any issues with the catless downpipe? Did u get a check engine light? I also have 18 eco with mpt 91prx but they won't tune for catless downpipe anymore can you tell me how you did it I'm looking to do downpipe thanks in advance man
Unfortunately yes, my CEL has been on for about 2 years. Have tried no less than a dozen O2 sensor extensions including the 90 degree ones but no dice. All lead to rough idle as well. Had I known I couldn’t solve the CEL issue I would’ve gone with catted dp as you lose remote start function with CEL on. From what I’ve read the power gain from catless dp is extremely negligible anyhow, to the order of 1-3hp. Spend the extra $ and do catted dp. Good luck bud.
Thanks for the quick response man, dam that's not good to hear about the 02 extensions was going to try that, the main reason wanting catless is for the sound as the mpt tune is already plenty enough as far as performance goes I know mpt won't tune for it anymore dam emissions b.s., but did you ever give them a call see if they would recommend anything ?
@@kolek9503 you can always take it to a real custom tuner to get them deleted. All of these tunes from these major "tuner" companies are just canned tunes they had for the mods you told them you have.
