There aint got no masaacre of muslim in china for the past 2000 years except for in the Tang Dyansty during 7th century ad where 200k Persian and Arab were massacred in Guangdong province due to wanting to create an Islamic caliphate with the help of Turks tribesmen.

    We can see from all the comments here, everyone applauded him. All Malaysians regardless of race and religion. The problem that our country facing are not religions or racial conflicts. It’s just pure greed and ego. It’s HUMAN problem that can be fixed, if only everyone have the will to do so.

      Alcohol, gambling and pork have nothing to do with muslims, so just stay out of it and let the non-muslims indulge in it as this is a free society where different people have different beliefs. Did the non-muslim interfere with how muslims pray in the mosque? Did non-muslims interfere in your fasting approach? This world with 6 bil people we live in is a diverse place, different cultures, different races and different genders, so, it's not uncommon that there are differences, so be it. You don't like it, no one force you to like it. Live and let live. Thank you.

    Respect ! I don't understand Islam when I in Malaysia because it doesn't make sense , but I understand more and make me feel how wonderful of Islamic world when I in oversea met my Muslim friends from Abu Dabi and friend from Indonesia. Again, nothing to do with religion , is the people 🙄!!

      Usually, when we are in a foreign land that we would find the need or urge to talk to other foreigners, and my best guess, that would be your Muslim friends from Abu Dhabi & Indonesia.
      When we are not in a foreign land we don't have as much urge to approach someone who we do not know before.
      It is our perception that closes our minds and makes we do not want to interact.
      It goes both ways.

      I think muslim Malay in Malaysia have been screwed up since the independence of Malaya.. who's the one who drafted the federal constitution before? A group of muslim scholars? I don't think so .. now you see how's it impacting the Malay 'Muslim" society...you don't understand Islam in Malaysia because you have been confused by the whole concept of Malay and Islam in Malaysia from the beginning..if anyone have prejudice against the Malays, anything about the Malay won't make any sense let alone the "Islam" practiced by the Malays... The Malays have never had the freedom to practice any religion to begin with so how you'd expect there will be no transgressions when any one who's born in Malay Muslim family would be a default muslim and never be legally allowed to profess other religion? A reality check of human right is needed perhaps

    As an older person soon to make the journey back to his maker, I for one grew up in a Muslim community in Selangor that consist of people from diverse racial and economic background who share a common faith in Islam. They always gained my respect and admiration because of their principles, knowledge and justice for the human race. As an individual that has worked in many parts of the world and always drew near to the Muslim community because of these fundamental truth. It has brought much pain and sadness to witness the set back our country has reached. As a non-Muslim, I still live among Muslims and draw near to dear Muslim friends for knowledge, council and wisdom. I sincerely believe that in a dark room the truth will prevail as more Muslim speaks out truth and justice. Thank you.

I’m agreeing with what The speaker said, and that is, alcohol and other what nots are NON of our(Muslims) business.( in the discussed context that is). I am in despair because of the antics of those politicians that love to parade their unintellectual opinions, murking the waters, creating a circus of haloo balloo in the name of Malays or Muslims (pick your choose) . It’s beyond embarrassing!...I’m saddened and ashamed for WE (Malays/Muslims) are not like that.

Anything alcohol, pork and gambling nothing to do with muslims so just stay away (We will manage and indulge in them anytime we like it) in fact I suggest there should be a law/notice that forbid muslims at all these premises .       Problem 1: He'd have to agree.
      Problem 2: I'm afraid for such a righteous man to enter politics, politics and righteousness rarely mix.
      I cannot in all consciousness ask such a man to enter politics, I can only hope that a better leader of M'sia seeks people like Dr. Syed for advice and council. A better leader would be able to keep people like Dr. Syed around for council while still keeping them away from dirty politics so they are not at risk of being corrupted.

    Datuk Dr. ....I like the story at the end....how many of you the Rakyat realize that it's their nature, if they are able to recognize the True Donkey and the Nature of a Scorpion, or why it's known and called a Scorpion. A metaphorical in nature for one to understand this truth you speak, when will the Rakyat realize this....no matter how many PRU's come and go, the donkey is always there unless the Rakyat wakes up soonest in next PRU15 and make changes not bcose of Government or Opposition , merely the Intelligence of Rakyat is put to the ultimate Test.... A legendary name Hang Tuah said ' takkan Melayu hilang didunia' yes ..tapi yang dah banyak hilang ialah : maruahnya, sopan santunnya, tuntutan agamanya yg berprinsip amar maaruf nahir mungkar, kebijaksaannya, beraninya, kejujurannya, dan banyak lagi sikap mulianya.     Sir, thanks again for your wisdom. People like you makes me believe Malaysia 'masih' boleh. But I do think you are missing to highlight the key point, the Muslim government does not seems to have issue with corruption. Which is a bigger issue/sin? Corrupted politicians (whom are mainly Muslims) or some non Muslim selling alcohol named Timah. Another suggestion Sir, please make your videos in Malay. This is the group that you need to reach out to. Even some of our politicians would not be able to understand your superb English.

      Dr Syed Ali Tawfik is a mixed race. His father is a mix of Arab, Malay and Turkish. His mother was Irish.
      On the other hand, culturally, he is a Malay.

      @@nadiajr1500 To tell you, Syed Ali Tawfiq is a son of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas. He, Syed Naquib, is part of Arab, Italian and Bogor. He is not part of Turkish. His mother named Rugayah (If im not mistaken) is Italian which was an ex-wife to ex Johor Minister.
      Yup, culturally, he is part of Malay.
