Been running this but with an exotic class item that has assassins cowl and syntho, replacing stylish with threaded spectra for basically infinite clones alongside the combination blow, invis and health. Truly a new fav build of mine where I feel like a goddamn ninja
Stylish Executioner increases melee damage while invis by 200% in PVE so you're actually losing a bunch of damage by not running it lol

@L0rdLexan01 You're losing the damage, but having the stasis shatters kill the clones and launch a billion threadlings that wipe out everything is one of the most satisfying gameplay loop I've experienced since starting the game.
@@L0rdLexan01 Yes, but against most targets that extra bit of invis melee damage is absolutely overkill. But the spam of decoys adds a lot of additional team survivability, as they do still draw aggro of a lot of enemies. You still have more than enough melee damage with Snytho/Liars and Combination Blow alone, while having Invis for yourself. The difference if that you now how a way to provide pseudo ivis to your entire team by just spamming out so many clones that SOMETHING has to catch the aggro of the enemies. It's a surprisingly solid build for higher level content, just because it takes so much pressure off your entire team.

I used dodge-punch-dodge-punch for solo flawless Ghosts of the Deep last year. It made me realize I don't want to play like this, ESPECIALLY in team content. I want to shoot things from range lol
You just encapsulated ‘the titan problem’ perfectly. The class thats not used to ability spam, find it difficult to engage with their strong melees, and want an easy to use prismatic build which aids in them shooting their pulse rifle.
It's weird, I love melee builds but I can't stand Combination Blow builds.

There’s some good variety ones I’ve thought of but they all use exotic class items unfortunately which means not everyone will be able to use them immediately

Slight alteration to the activation order of the still hunt nighthawk combo. I believe the fastest order is still hunt, transcendence throw your things, then super and discharge both. Once the still hunt super has been activated you can cancel the rest of the animation with your transcendence which can’t be canceled in any way but also can’t be activated mid super. Whatever the order is you want to make sure that still hunt and transcendence have been activated before golden gun for boss damage. Get as many animations out of the way before damage starts so you can maximize your output.
so 1st activate stillhunt golden shot and then do transcendent really quick and then super and then shoot stillhunt ?

Some optimisation of the dmg rotation- pop Still hunt, then pop transcendence, then pop golden gun. Then throw melee and grenade and then use both GGs back to back
Hunters are already the new warlock. Already I've been told "can you put on still hunt and nighthawk" same thing as "put on well"

for celestial hunt you get more damage if you activate sniper ult, then use super nighthawk (make sure to be outside of well of radiance cause they haven’t fixed that) then shoot the sniper ult afterwards (being in well of radiance)
works because golden gun gets more damage on its 2ed and 3ed shot, with nighthawk this normally doesn’t apply but since stillhunt counts as an additional shot, it gets the damage buff
Having the celestial build is a blessing, had something similar, but hearing Datto optimize it is music to my ears
It should be mentioned that with the exotic class item, you can get caliban's hand as well as liars for even more punch damage

ive been using the punchy boi prismatic build for a little while now, a lot of people want to go for a one two punch shotgun because it seems like the obvious pick, but if you pick this build up PLEASE give conditional finality a try with facet of ruin, its very satisfying getting your combo stacks, then punch, conditional freeze, liar's punch, delete whatever is in your face

This is the build (or very close) that I ran for the entire 30 hours my team was in Contest SE. Eventually I swapped out stylish for spectre just to make up for the loss of flow state from arc, and I run Duskfield for instant freezes (not needed, just a comfort pick) but it's so fun
Oh also if you use Spectre over Stylish you get a 6th facet slot so that's a big win

Prismatic Hunter feels like I’m just playing Arc Hunter but with Nighthawk and Golden Gun.
People are complaining that Prismatic Titan is just consecration but Prismatic hunter is literally what you just said lmao
There are plenty of solid builds that have nothing to do with either punching everything or using nighthawk. Renewal/cyrtarachne, HOIL/cyrtarachne or the gifted convulsion builds off the top of my head are all very good and actually feel like a mix of everything

@@petervalvo1186 These builds are not as good as you think. I’ve tried them all. The damage reduction uptime is not high enough imo to rival the best warlock/titan/hunter builds. Ascension will be completely irrelevant once the galvanic armor artifact mod goes away and gifted conviction doesn’t have the ease of use or uptime to warrant using it over other things (even with galvanic).
@@fieryflame6676 You're not using the builds correctly then because I literally always have woven mail up when using something like the HOIL/cyrtarachne build. Between GPG and my nade, woven mail is never on CD. Also gifted convulsion is probably the easiest to use build ever, literally just use a voltshot weapon and ascension every now and then and you have permanent DR. Anybody who knows anything about buildcrafting knows all these builds are strong

got a calibans/liars exotic class item and it really destroys everything in pve. caliban explosion is delayed from when u kill and enemy so not only will it not take the kill like lethal current sometimes does, u can also dodge quickly after the melee but before the explosion to get ur melee back instantly. really, really incredible build.
I'm getting a lot of milage on the celestial setup with the smoke bomb + duskfield + facet of courage wombo combo. Pair that with expanding abyss on the artifact with strong void weapons (Edge transit or commemoration). Absolutely destroys GM level enemies.

God, I hate that the delivery mechanism for Hunter transcendence grenade is a spike nade. It's effectiveness is so hit or miss, especially on those scrawny rake-like enemies, pretty good coverage when it hits terrain properly though.
I felt the pain when it stuck to the train. 😂

Datto go 2 minutes without saying the word "content" challenge (impossible)
For the nighthawk one I prefer void grenade with the fragment that makes them weaken targets instead of duskfield (and then shurikens for the darkness debuff). Youre going for max damage so might as well add in weakness for even higher damage.
Honestly, the Hunter exotic class item has a ton of useful rolls that can create some really good builds. My current fav in non endgame content is Inmost/Coyote with Gamblers, Stasis Shuriken, Arcbolt nade with jolt fragment, and Gunpowder Gamble. Literally all the ability spam you could ever want.
It's been 4 weeks and Datto still shows the rotation as Activate GS>Shoot GS, Activate SH>Shoot SH rather than >Activate SH>Activate GS>Shoot GS>Shoot SH
Been rocking witherhoard and an auto-loading RL with prismatic punch, both feel pretty good and let me keep up combo stacks.
While I don't fault Datto for posting this video, the description is underselling how prolific these builds have been.

My only change to the nighthawk build would be to have snare bomb for the melee instead of threaded spike. But that's my preference 🤷♂️. Thanks Datto!
Snare bomb was not behaving as expected on launch AND darkness debuff procs the fragment for "bonus ability damage to darkness debuffed enemies"
For any hunter mains out there - I highly recommend to branch out from dodge punch build (unless you are newer). This is a great build, but don’t mistake - this is a glass cannon build carry over from arc hunter. It may not seem so with the great DR we have this season, but checkout the gifted conviction build, the cyrtarachne / hoil build for better ability and range spam. The issue with this build that I think ppl who are sticking to this is: you aren’t getting the full prismatic value (ie: once you pop prismatic, 2 of your abilities are useless from any range other then close range). Just my 02 cents
Another build mainly for survival encounters is gyrfalcons with stylish and acension and a ros arago with rewind onslaught to stay invis and volatile permanently

I still can't believe I've yet to see anything about an orpheus rig and Microcosm build. Set it up for extra transcendence energy for kinetic. Add on generating orbs while transcendent and transcendent melee kills cause explosions. Use threaded spike and gambler's. Everything else is pretty much up to you. I've had the best results from winter's shroud and stylish executioner while running the stasis grenade to help fuel the refund for gambler's and your threaded spike. The amount of orbs you generate is crazy.
I opted out of style for gamble; the melee when it kills almost immediately procs the gamble, which I use as the actual grenade. And given how quickly I can get them, it feels like dodge, melee kill, gamble, repeat

Tbf, Hunters with melee setups are kind of a "stealthy assassin", while a Titan with a melee setup is more of a "super-fast rhino with a knife" thing.

For the most part I use the nighthawk setup with dragonsbreath and an incandescent weapon in most low tier content. It's much more interesting and still gives me the ability to absolutely dumpster bosses and big targets when I want to. I'll swap to still hunt where it matters but proccing gunpowder gamble as often as I can is so much more fun to me
It's avoided on purpose in the video, but the combination blow build 'can' be taken into low-level content once you have some specific exotic class items. Class items with Spirit of Caliban clear rooms like jolt does on Arc, but without messing up the original kill. That said unless you can pair Caliban with Liar's or Synthoceps you lose a lot of the soul of the build, and getting 1 of 2 combos out of 64 can be a chore.
For the nighthawk build, while it's not necessary, Winters Shroud does give you another source of anti-overload. Worth keeping in mind if you want to stack Duskfield, Withering Blade, and Dodge for 4 sources of anti-overload in dense areas or simply want to swap out one of the other sources.

@@Parallelocam Yes Assassin's Cowl is a valid pick for any punch hunter build, but it also has no bearing on either of the situations I mentioned.
Been grinding for a caliban + liars since the class item dropped. Still no luck. Plenty with one or the other, but rolling with both is proving to be quite the ask.
Man, I really wish Bungie had kept the debuffs on right side, buffs on left side or whatever setup they had during the test footage for Final Shape. Having them separate woulda been better than this half measure we have where I feel like I STILL don’t have enough space for all my buffs.

For low-tier content I replaced Winter's Shroud with Threaded Spectre and used Skyburner's hipfire to get Stylish Executioner going. Almost as easy and Threadlings take care of surrounding ads easily.
If you are struggling with Ad density on the first build, sub out Stylish for Threaded Spector, you make a strand clone every time you dodge, putting down tons of threadlings, and also taking some heat off of you if that’s a concern
Thank you for the video Datto! Honestly, I’m gonna pass on both builds. I spent the entirety of the last 9 months playing mostly Liar’s, Gyrfalcon’s and Celestial Hunter. I think I’m going to try a quirked up Gunpowder/Ascension build when I get the exotic cloak :)

I love stylish + winters shroud because i love spamming my primary. Outbreak in GMs is going HARD amd i love it. After years my favorite gun is on top again.
Datto, you gotta try HoIL and Verity on hunter. GPG, stylish, grapple nade. Stack your buffs properly and you can get 200k GPG every few seconds, grapple hits like a truck, turns you invis and gives you unravel. Kill an unravelled enemy, make a tangle, blow it up and instant GPG back. I pair mine with a demo breachlight and because of HoIL you never have to reload as basically everything reloads it for you. If you time everything right, you can turn invis, throw your GPG at an enemy, grapple to it, hit the enemy out of stylish executioner and your grapple for the melee weaken then GPG will blow up. It's tricky but man it's chef's kiss. The most fun I've ever had on hunter

For combination blow I would definitely drop Facet of Dawn this season since we have Radiant Orbs in the artifact, and you will be picking up orbs constantly using melee+dodge combo thanks to Powerful Attraction. Feels like a waste of a fragment unless you want it only for buffing allies.
Withering blade will instantly proc gunpowder gamble
Facet of Solitude is a good neutral way to reliably trigger Stylish if everything's on cooldown and you need to start rolling again. This isn't in regard to either build, just a neat prismatic hunter tip

I honestly don’t even use the class item just for the petty reason that I don’t like how over the top it looks with the transmogs I go for.
I know it gets a lot of flack but Nighthawk being one of the top Dps will always feel right

Hi, Datto. I just want to say that I think you were WRONG and that we should still care about managing our vaults. You're like the Marie Kondo of my guns, and I try to toss anything I have that doesn't spark joy. Except exotic armor, which I keep one copy of regardless of how trash the exotic might be (looking at you, Triton Vice). I appreciate the encouragement for me to think more critically about why I held onto things - do I really need two arc smg's with voltshot for pve? If I know I'm not big on shotguns, does it really matter if it's the best, most perfect god roll ever when I know I'm probably not gonna use it anyway?

How long does a boss damage phase has to be in order for lucky pants to overtake celestial in overall damage?
I use duskfield nades, with class item that pairs renewal and liars the extra frost armor and instant freeze when I dodge next to an add is really helpful. Otherwise this build goes hard.
lucky raspberry is really good on hunter prismatic and also foe tracer. I made build with both exotic and I am enjoying the off meta prismatic builds until they become meta lol.

I haven’t heard any content creators talk about how Bungie gave warlocks weavewalk aspect a second fragment slot. It feels so much better now, it doesn’t feel broken so not really sure why they only gave it one slot through Lightfall???

Don’t sleep on the Ascension aspect. Instant invis/clear on low tier adds with stylish, on demand jolt for overloads or bigger targets, on demand amplified for Galvanic Armor this season. Also niche but giving amplified to the team is nice. Been doing SE Sherpa runs and it works great on 3rd encounter door transitions for example
plus with Gifted Conviction, the damage resistance boost is so good
Would a Bait and Switch heavy weapon work in place of Apex Predator if you don't have Apex? I have a Rewind Rounds/Bait and Switch Scintillation (Adept) I use as a heavy weapon; wondering if that will suffice without having the rocket launcher you mentioned in the "boss damage " build.

these are obviously the meta ones but i found a balance of power build that i really like using, also one for cyrtarachne's for a bit more survivability since i didn't want to do "arc hunter but better" on a new subclass
I don't mind Datto making the content, it just seems so late to the party that everyone knows all these builds already bc they're really all that's worth using with prismatic on these classes.
Also wish he would dive into weapons for the build more, bc the call can roll strategist/pugilist/demo and would have prevented the need for some of his mod choice in other videos. Don't need to spec so hard into ability spam when the gun gives like 20% back per kill
He also was seemingly not aware that osmiomancy's work with prismatic grenades, that build with storm grenades is significantly better than the swarmers build
@@Parallelocam Honestly I hate weapons being crucial to builds because if the build restricts what weapons I can use heavily I will just not run it since its not that fun especially if its exotics being used. I think offering options of weapons to use or perks that help is awesome
@@snipey8623 then you're just not building builds to be as efficient as possible, you're building them to have fun. Most people are building for efficiency bc that is what clears content. And you only need a build to clear hard things, everything else you can beat with blue armor
Id at least want them suggested in a non ability spam build bc that's half the build. Even for ability spam, the right weapons can make a build so much better and save you so much mod cost
@@Parallelocam Honestly most builds that have synergy and survivability can clear high end content with 0 weapon synergy besides your weapons just killing quicker. My favorite builds are ones that are potent and maybe require a synergy with your weapons like the element but beyond that I just throw on my strongest weapons and clear the high end content since positioning and knowledge of spawns and movement will save you over trying to out tank everything
