- Today I want to find out what the difference is between my OneUp Carbon Bars vs the Aluminum ones, Skinny vs Fat grips, and Metal vs Composite pedals. Let’s take a closer look at these 2 Enduro Mountain Bikes and take them out on my test loop to see how these 2 very different MTBs ride on the same trails. In this video series, I’ll be Upgrading everything on the N7 with a $1000 budget to see how close I can get it to feel to a bike Twice the Price. Welcome to High vs Low!

Since contact points are the thing everyone upgrades first, especially pedals out of necessity but grips too, I see more colored grips than cable ferrules let's say... That market must be huge... Grips and pedals. That's definitely a MTB related business I would jump in
Loving this content, keep it up
Dude!! Great video man. Been looking forward to this follow up from 2 weeks ago. Got my Tec-Mano brakes dialed in. Had some sticky pistons but now… feel amazing! Thanks for the tips on it. Keep up the great content! 🍻 would you put a cushcore up front? I’m running tubes still, and just got new I9 rims and want to protect them from a “investment” perspective.
Noice!👌🏻
I went looking for this vid yesterday to see if there'd been another upload, so you got no idea how excited i was when i got up for work this morning at 5am (australian time) and i could watch this while having my morning coffee!
Love seeing how you can do these mods pretty cheap compared to the big brother N9
Yeeewwww!!!!
Cheers Kiz! Glad you’re enjoying it!👊🏻
@TopToBottomMTB been such a good series to see how you go about it, never thought about buying a shimano chain after my commencal came with a KMC, but its tempting
God, I love the way Polygon bikes look! Such great angles
Me too!😍
Thanks for the video 👍
Cheers Ryan!🤜🏼🤛🏼
What brand makes that saddle?

Loving this content, keep it up 😁
Thx homie! Glad you’re enjoying it!🤘🏻
Amazing video, I think you have to try to ride this trail on n9 second time
I think so too… I know it so well now that I think I can better that time too.
You could also upgrade the internals of the zeb to make it feel beter🤙🏾 great video btw
Stay tuned for that next week!👀
Cool, most important is feel. Why does everyone judge final out come of a bike by weight and how fast it is?
That’s only important if you race… I agree with you. If you feel good on the bike you have fun, period! Only added the timed loop to see improvements after every week.
@@TopToBottomMTB I get it there has to be something to compare with. Your decked out one is a great comparison, budget bs baller lol
I believe you previously mentioned you hadn't regularly rode that loop in the past as much as you have been with this series. So to make your tests more "scientific", at the end of the series, I think you should consider running the loop again on the N9 and returning the N7 to stock and running it one last time. This will help determine truly whether those upgrades made a difference, or if it was a matter of getting more confident and dialed on the trial itself. If trail knowledge is a non-factor, your times should be close to the original times set on those bikes.
Is it necessary to do this to validate your test? Ehh, probably not, the series is entertaining and informative either way. Does it give you additional content? Well, you're welcome. :)
I might do an episode at the end where I take a friend of mine and we ride both bikes switching back and forth To see if a bike twice the price “really” ride twice as good… But yes, maybe a last run down the same track with the N9 will most likely give me a better time than set at the beginning.
Second😅 nice video
Thx! You rock!🤘🏻
First?👀👀🎉
