In The Beautiful Caribbean is the name of the show, wrote by Barry Reckord originally for theaters and then adapted to television. I was looking for some infos about the show these days. The first time on TV was on 2-3-1972. One of the actress, Corinne Skinner-Carter, said in a interview "That was Barry Reckord's beautiful play and I shall never forget it. I felt so uplifted to be acting in something as special as this, a television drama by a Jamaican writer. If they'd told me to stand on my head, I would have done so! That's how thrilled I was to be in it. You see, in those days, when black actors appeared on television, we were often isolated from each other. With Barry's play, we were together, and we could relax. It was fantastic." Dennis Williams, you watched it on those days? What was all about? Bless!
