I've had the best giggle this morning watching / remembering these gems of Aussie historical / hysterical comedy...these guys were all comedic geniuses...absolutely AWESOME!!!! Going to spend a chunk of my day today watching clips of fabulous shows like this and Comedy Company , Full Frontal etc.....going to be a fun day many thanks Fast Forward !! xxx
This is so "Spot On". That's how MTV's in America acted back in the day especially Martha Quinn who a couple of years ago did an Informercial for Rhino Music a Poor Man's Version of Time-Life. David Bowie was on MTV in it's early days and scared the daylights out of the VJ when he asked "How come no Black Artists are on MTV. He had the fellow hemming and hawwing trying to explain it was demographics. He was very angry.

I can see how you think that but its actually not the case. Fast Forward wasn't the first show for this team of comics. That was "D" Generation which started long before F&S. Before Benny Hill Paul Hogan was making people laugh here in a format Benny Hill adopted. British satire was very influential but this form of comedy was well established in Australian culture. We know because English TV companies would try their own variants at our humour.

This is based on Australian MTV. The VJ'ss name was Alison Drower.
The Australians would have been shown hours of footage of the American version then paid lots of money and did it here
