No one comes close. lebron and Kobe are amazing, but MJ was on another level
Absolutely!👍🏻I agree with you 100%👌
Even a prime kobe is no match to this version of MJ!
Another World tht is bcse he was Phenomenal .....
FACTS 💪🏾
you a 💯 right💯💯 %%
In his prime, Jordan was practically unstoppable
He was incredible before he won his first NBA championship, afterwards he became a Human Cheat Code; Total Domination.
Plenty of guys would hold jordan down in today's league. Lebron, Klay Thompson, Ben Simmons. Jordan wouldn't score more than 20 points in today's NBA
@@troll-fx2zcYou must be a comedian.
@@troll-fx2zctodays game is soft as you.what are you talking about kid...
@@troll-fx2zclol surround him with shooters and he'll average 40 to 50. That dude is the best at getting to the line. He'll pump fake and next thing you know he's hitting FTs with his eyes closed
The ability to finish in traffic is what's really amazing about Jordan!!!
"Yeah, he really looks kinda hurt." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@lewis2011love that part. 😂😂😂😂
Traffic ? yes somewhat but no zone defence was allowed back then
There was no traffic
unlike lebrom
Michael Jordan is an honorary member of the Tuskegee Air Men
He was amazing to watch. Never a disappointment. The 🐐.
That first step out the triple threat mixed with his mid range mastery, footwork and creativity alone makes him the GOAT. Don’t even need to talk about all the other infinite qualities he had, his deadly post up game and everything else. NOBODY can guard MJ
A few came close, though. Joe Dumars was an incredible defender on MJ.
and he's not a CHOKER who travelled from team to team just to get rings
His Airness taking flight in 92
WHAT UP RICE! MOS DEF!
Absolutely insane 😮😳 u forget how much of a beast Jordan was if u haven't seen that level of perfection in the game since 2000 Kobe n Bron got close, ledgends...but Jordan IS THE LEDGEND. moving through the very best of the era like some ghost that files. Not nobody's either...hall or famers, masters of the game... sometimes would look like kids😮I remember I would ask my dad,"why they just let him? Like they not trying" dad said they don't let him, they just can't do anything to stop him so they look goofy. Big ass Mike so fast and agile like in-between 2 dudes in the air 😱 passed millimeters from them effortlessly..and still scoree 😳
Man, I missed that time. Don't watch sports at all nowadays, but would in a heartbeat if I was back in time and Jordan was playing.
1992 jordan was something else
MJ was a master of the fundamentals. Great footwork and exceptional quickness. There is a reason many regard him as the GOAT. The combination of athleticism and mastery of the fundamentals was deadly.
So many variables that make MJ the GOAT all by themselves, untouchable all-time records, statistics, trophies, achievements, Chips, fundamentals, competitiveness, work ethic, and pure talent, and he's officially the Greatest of all the GOAT (in team sports and arguably all sports...
Let's look at the 87-88 season and what he REALLY accomplished in his third full season... People really have no clue and only discuss the fact that he was
-the Scoring Champ (35ppg)
-Defensive Player of the Year.
But he was also
-Regular Season League MVP
-Regular Season Steals Leader
-Regular Season Total Points Leader -All-NBA First Team honors
-All-NBA Defensive First Team honors
-Playoff PPG leader (36.3)
-Starting All Star
-All-Star game MVP
-Slam Dunk Contest Winner
-Only player to ever have 200+ Steals and 100+ blocks in a season.
What he accomplished in that one season, not even the second greatest player of all time (whether you want to call it him LeBron, Kareem, Russell, Magic, Kobe etc) have never accomplished all those feats throughout their entire careers, let alone all in one season like MJ did. No one has even won Scoring Title and DPOY in the same year.
No one's ever been League MVP and steals leader in the same season.
No one's ever been scoring champ and steals leader.
No one's ever been League MVP and defensive player of the year except (Hakeem a few years later).
And that's why there is no doubt, not even the slightest, that Michael Jordan is so far above any other player in NBA history. That's just one example.
@@Daveyboy_GolfR Your points are valid. I actually rank MJ as the GOAT. I grew up about 2 hours from Chicago and watched the Bulls more than anything else as a kid and teenager. He's my GOAT. But there are arguments to be made for Wilt, Russell, Bron and Kareem as all being the GOAT. But certainly MJ is the best non big ever and I believe the best ever.
@@robX931 absolutely.. everyone is entitled to their opinion about to the greatest of all time is. But the general consensus from players, fans, ex players, coaches, analysts etc is that if we had to choose, MJ would be the one.
But I will say it is very difficult to compare someone like MJ to Hakeem, who I personally believe to be the greatest technical big of all time. Sure if you gave him Wilts atlanticism and almost 50 in vertical then he would have surely averaged 50/25 and 7-8 BPG in a season.
However when it comes down to it, each of the players you mentioned have not hit the heights that MJ reached, whether it's statistically or in terms of accolades, records etc, or they have accumulated blunders throughout their career that MJ just has not.
I'll just give one example. Wilt Chamberlain is by far the most devastating and domineering player the NBA has ever seen. No doubt!
But his big numbers were short lived, 1959-65 is where he shined. But even throughout those years, even when averaging 50/25 in the early 60s, throughout his 160 playoff games he only averaged 22 PPG, and in his six finals appearances, he 'wilted' averaging 18 PPG.
Whereas in Jordan's 178 playoff games he has a record 33.6 PPG, and in his six finals appearances, he holds the record for PPG (almost doubling Wilt) with just under 34 PPG.
Will Chamberlain went 2-6 in those finals and MJ went 6-6. I wonder if Wilt would have put up those type of numbers he was putting up in the regular season in the postseason, maybe they might have won another championship or two.
That's just one example.
But again, it does feel completely unnatural to try and compare a center and a 2 guard.
That's why I usually keep a GOAT and a GOAT Big mutually exclusive, as they played completely different games. But it's very reasonable to compare a two guard and a small forward etc.
Thanks for your reply 👍
@@Daveyboy_GolfR Your post is one of the most reasonable and rationale responses I've received online. Very well stated and I appreciate the stats you provided. Playing devil's advocate Wilt did go against the great Celtics and his teams were entirely outmatched top to bottom. But his numbers do show he indeed "wilted" on the biggest stage. I also agree when it comes to GOAT talks better to go big man and then non big. Hakeem was a beast. I would probably take Kareem. Nobody but Wilt could block the skyhook. Kareem's high school, college and NBA resume is the best of all time, hands down. But MJ's NBA resume is as good if not better.
Every clip i see, damn that first step was quick!
That catch and suddenly turning right and dunk was fast.
@@algladyou yes it was. His game was beautiful to watch
4.3 40 at 6’6” is amazing
The legend will always be a legend! And no one else can comprehend MICHAEL JORDAN! My idol!💪💪💪
His Footwork is Damn, INCREDIBLE.......WOW
Jordan dunk on the whole team..🐐 complete domination..

Well deserve.
G.O.A.T. status: Confirmed! 💯🐐🏀🏆
GOAT
MJ didn't need space or one leg to elevate over guys. That's the difference between him and other dunkers. Even Vince couldn't do that 🙏🏾
Only Vince could....
Ooph don't disrespect Vince like that. Vince is the greatest in game dunker in nba history.
Thank you and exactly. Vinc Carter is mentioned by many as the god of dunk and that he used to dunk more than MJ, yeah right!!!!!!😅
@@krump743Vince’s dunks were great, but MJ’s dunks were poetry in motion.
I’ll never get mad at anyone thinking Vince’s dunks were as good though.
He drops the ball straight down, like right at the rim. Ultimate control every single dunk
That was the best version of MJ. That was the GOAT at his absolute peak in athleticism, skill and dominance. To this day I haven’t seen anything like that and nothing like him in 93 or the second three peat when he was no longer in his athletic prime yet still one of the most athletic players then and still even for now. I hate this guy but damn.
Jordan could fly man
Miss those days
He dominates.
Everytime I see something like this from Jordan it makes me think he was genetically design for this like some kind of Basketball Super Soldier lol....
He was..... look into it
Someone astutely pointed out how unique Jordan was at dunking the ball in the halfcourt offense. Which is a lot harder to do than dunking in the open court because of how crowded it is in the halfcourt offense. Gave me a new appreciation now anytime I see someone dunk in the halfcourt offense.
In his prime MJ was unstoppable.he could fly anytime he liked and there was no one who comes closer
he had a 48” vertical and the only player that could jump off one or two feet in full stride and reach that vertical
This Man IS THE GOAT! 🐐
The best ever. GOAT
Honestly don't think there will be anyone to play the sport like mike...he was so precise with everything he did on the court..so happy I lived in his era to see that talent..
His defense is what separates him from everyone else in my opinion
The real goat body of work speaks for itself. MJ all day.
Tendinitis my Ass...Bruh was Dunkin hard on everybody
87-93 MJ... Prime GOAT of all GOATs in team sports history.
People don't credit his 80s play enough IMO.. he could've won MVP from 87-93 and at least one more DPOY. Like how does someone average 37 and then the next year 35 while winning DPOY... and then played even better in the playoffs but literally had no help.. people say lebron carried but MJ actually had no help.. when the next guy gets 12 points a game he shouldn't even have made the playoffs
@@StrictlyStrange67Exactly! Speaking of his '80s play, from 1984-90, he played in 51 playoff gms averaging 37/7/7, with 2.3 Spg and 1.3Bpg. No one touches those PS numbers.
@@Daveyboy_GolfR exactly. lebron fans say MJs 80s years hurt him, but it actually helps. MJ was drafted by a team that couldn't make the playoffs and AS A ROOKIE averaged 28-5-5 and got them in the playoffs. He told the org that he'd make the playoffs every year and HE DID. He turned a bottom end team into a fuckin DYNASTY. lebron didn't do anything like that, no one has or will
@@StrictlyStrange67 exactly what I've been saying over and over, but these kids got blinders on
@@DeadlyViper23 probably when it comes to footwork and fundamentals
Fast forwarding 30 years, still no one can match MJ’s dunk

@@lavernebenson2863 abron nuts slurper spotted
Agreed!
fact
Everybody just gone look past the one where he solely palmed that basketball with one damn arm and hand off the dribble and dunked that thing hard 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 this is what sets Mike totally apart from the rest
Jordan would absolutley demolish today's wide open soft NBA.
That's the goat.👏💯🏆
Jordan was so great a player sometimes he made scoring look easy. If you fouled him his free-throws were really free points!
Automatic from the free-throw line!
G.O.A.T
Only one word... Outstanding!
Must watch TV. I swear I believe. .....'d there would never be another in my lifetime. Well hell. It still holds true.

그냥 스포츠가 아닌 예술 하는 거 같습니다. 너무 우아함 ^^
THATS WHY HES THE GOAT!!!! THE GOOOAAATT!!!!
That Carolina first step..Vince had it,too...
THAT 1ST DUNK WAS SICK!!!!!!DAMN!NOBODY COMES CLOSE TO THE GOAT!!!!!
I miss you Mike
That’s the silhouette on the shoe.
When you want to defend, he’s already in air.
That’s the killing part the man is already in flight hell they have to try and get up and why waist an ankle sprain when he’s already at the basket 😂😂😂😂😂
"Tendinitis this"
There is no argument. Black Jesus, MJ, Air Jordan, his airness or just Michael. Whatever you want to call him. He is GOAT and no one can tell me different.
We will remember all Jordan move 1000000million yrs from now.
The GOAT......
no comparison...he fun as hell to watch
There's only one GOAT on this planet
FACTS MJ
On all the planets in the Universe.
When Jordan was in his prime, he would dominate the court being hurt or sick-!!!?? (He was just a PHENOMINAL Athlete back then)... 😆😊🙂😳👍✌

so crisp and clean when it hit the net, MJ had the GOAT sounding dunk
This needs the one he Dunkin on Charles Barkley
MJ23 HIS AIRNESS 🤩
When listing an MJ/LeBron comparo, I noticed ppl never include how MJ also DESTROYS Bron in monster highlights(eye test), besides his superior stats/accolades (playin 7 less seasons).
Right, the eye test screams MJ all day.. he made everything look so easy and beautiful
True. Lebron only has 1 dunk and no real signature moves. It's because he lacks footwork. The Akron Hammer has been done forever. He just does it "bigger" than everybody else.
@@StrictlyStrange67 YESSSIR..... If you wanna see one of my favorite examples of MJ carrying out an extraordinarily difficult play and making it look seemingly effortless, just watch this clip with his patented Palm fake then dunk on 7'1 Tree Rollins.

@@Daveyboy_GolfR yeah he was unbelievable
Bron has tons of highlights. I think you guys are taking this too far.

Jordan in the Carmine 6s is Mike at his PEAK and easily the best to ever play.
Jordan so amazing.i love watching black jesus.he lfew like an angel
Jordan is the GOAT in Any Era! There's no one like him! #23 The 🐐 🏀
I had to watch it about 5 times!
I love that he understands when to jump high or not. He has the jumping down to a science. Some dunkers just want to go highest possible all the time but MJ got it done! No need for flashy stuff sometimes, just need a bucket !
1992 was the first year when I thought Jordan's hops had dropped, but that's because he added even more muscle. He could still get up though, just not as easily as he did in the late 80s
😂😂😂😂 man never you mean now that he’s almost in his 60’s never in 50’s on back to his college days have this ever been mentioned about him no one will say this only you … who else you seen today or yesterday flying from anywhere on the court nobody not nobody and thank you
Jordan had so much style
MJ is another level of this greater sport is just the majestic the best player never live
MJ is the only player that can decide what style he wants when he posterize a player
What I call getting up off the floor MJ did it better than any player past or today!!
