The Cleveland Cavaliers probably got the worst of Jordan’s wrath, particularly during the late 80’s and early 90’s; it’s not that the Cavs were a bad team. In fact, they were one of the better teams in the league, but Jordan just had their number in every which way possible.
With that said, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Michael’s career high for scoring in a single game came against the Cavs.

MJ was so good between 88-93, it’s scary. It’s unbelievable just how far ahead of the league he was in his prime.
He was always physically good from the start but you are right because around 87 88 his mental strength caught up with his physical strengths and it was over for the rest of the league after that .

He always had better stats when playing against a team not named the Celtics.

This performance is incredible to watch. It's 1990, he's been in the league for 6 years and this game is just a clear example of who the best is. You can tell, it's so clearly evident offensively and defensively, that he's the best player on the court. It's amazing. All those rebounds, some of them crucial, and steals.

When you have a good mid ranged you have a good 3 point... i usually dont practice 3s just mid range, but in games i make tons of 3. kerr said the same, he used to practice just mid range.

It was better this way without the overexposure of the modern internet and media. Sharing his latest feats via word of mouth from young fans that would grow up idolising Jordan, and older fans just awestruck that they were witnessing a once in a generation player. It was have been so much more special that way i feel not having infinite replays and highlights at the palm of your hand. Making you really anticipate with excitement everytime you see the man hit the court on your box CRT TV.

Might be the worst game of basketball I’ve ever seen. One player playing at todays speed but everyone else looks like they have no effort
People don’t recognize how balanced of an all around game mj really had, on a good night he gettin 32 7 and 7 with like 2 steals and a block, amazing finisher, post work, hall of fame middy, and if he feelin it he might get a couple from 3 and a lockdown defender. People compare lebron to mj like mj isn’t an all around player, but he is definitely a better scorer and defender. Bron top 3 all time but that conversation often goes away from basketball skill and into just records imo and even still mj got a lot of those lol.
