Gogeta is definitely a good and easy character to play (Hes been high tier ever since he was added, top 1 before Lab21). And I will say, its great to say you getting better, I would recommend practicing your reaction on random vanishes and learning to preserve meter for high level combos

Hmm. Gogeta has literally never been number one in this game as he struggled in neutral before the buff to his lariats and when he got the buff to his frame data. But when he was buffed, so was vegito and blue gogeta which started the double fusion 17 meta, to be replaced when labcoat came out. Even then there were other characters at the time like teen gohan and Majin 21 who overall had him beat. he's the best he's ever been right now but falling short of some of these insanely buffed characters like beerus, jiren, and blue vegeta.

Both characters are great, but I think monke fusion is better all around, easy to pick up yet amazing at higher ranks too. Btw Im loving your dbfz content, keep it up!

I can give you an advice to get that Big Bang Kamehameha One Shot, when you finish the combo and the opponent is in the floor charge it 1 lvl, when the opponent is blocking try use your assist to distract him (specially Beam assist like the Kamehameha of Rose or the Kicks of Vegito Blue) and while they are dealing with the assist block you make one charge, and then if you land the counter you can combo it with the One Shot move

Your getting a lot better at this game. Like holy hell a LOT better. So a few tips for monke man.
His counter is invincible to all non super attacks and if you use the input ⬇️⬇️ special he gains kind of a counter that hits everywhere around him and you get a free dragon ball even is it doesn’t hit
Another thing is his ⬇️↙️⬅️ light medium and heavy are really good. His medium and heavy versions can go through some attacks and they have a bounce. The heavy has a floor bounce that you can use your special into ⬇️↘️➡️ heavy or light for a nice drag down. Also his levels give his supers more damage and his A assist allows him to use the taunt to gain levels but it only goes up to 5 but you also gain half a bar everytime you use it…hope this helps

What's insane is you can charge ur one shot mid combo, and taunt cancel to bait ppl and charge the one shot.

Playbox! Another tip, there is a vanish move in this game, it works to chain combos or Suprise your opponent, its triangle and circle button at the same time, try it! Good luck ❤

second word of advice. Try practicing combos in training mode. As for blocking. keep blocking until you see a opening. And here's one more tip, if you're down to your last character, after you input a level 1 super you can input a level 3 super immediately afterwards.

There is an assist for SSJ4 gogeta that regens pretty quickly and gives you 1 level per use, it's pretty useful, but it caps at level 5
Btw start using run. Forward and right trigger. It helps you a ton trust.

SSJ4 Gogeta is pretty good. I use him on the exact same team you use. It’s kinda hard for me to do the taunt since you have to do jt 7 times to be able to use the Big Bang Kamehameha and one shot.

Whenever you use Vegito spirt sword in the air you can combo it with his grab then if you have a level 1 you can use it right after but if you're trying to do the level 3 then you can do it when you and the opponent land on the ground, but you have to be fast cause if you don't your opponent can get up and block it. And one more tip whenever you land Vegito level 3 if you have one more bar right after then you can combo it into a level 1 whenever the level 3 is done.
You should use master roshi he is my main and I love his play style

Yo I think a good team for normal/ranked pvp is hit ui Goku and vb a good combo is the spirit sword combo into one of hit assists it’s a multi hit into a down slam and then ui with the downward kamehameha

I had a feeling you would love Blue Gogeta and SSJ4 Gogeta but unlike Legends, SSJ4 Gogeta is actually good lmao. Btw A assist for Gogeta would be the best because it builds his Lvl 7 Instakill and gives you extra meter, also that Kuru dude was relying on Limit Break Base Goku like no tomorrow

Hey playbox did you know when you on limit break(when you only have ond character on your team) you can do Level 1 super into Level 3 on this patch

honestly you should try saving your meter and not level 1 after each combo cuz then you can get way more level 3s. you only really wanna level 1 if its either a dp(invulnerable lvl 1) or its gonna kill(also the reason you do less damage sometimes is because its scaled) basically imagine combo comp from legends but for fighterz (dragon rush+projectiles are heavily scaled, light attacks are scaled, medium and heavy are not)
