You just know Nic Cage enjoyed the hell out of making this movie. I haven't set foot in a movie theater for many years but, for this one, I think I'll make an exception.

One gets the feeling that this is one of those parts, in one of those scripts, that gets written with just one, single, very specific actor in mind.
Like, the writer *_started_* with, "Okay, how about Cage as Dracula?" and everything else was built around that.

I love the little nod to Bela's Iconic Dracula
He even looks a bit like him too.
My favorite was always bram stokers dracula. It was the best because it took legit history, and mixed in the Paranormal aspects. From his time as the leader of order of the dragon in the battle of targoviste. It showed the famous impaling of sultan mehmed II men after he tried to ambush dracula. The sultan later reached the battlefield just to see 23,844 of his turks impaled in dracula's famous method.
I really love movies that take real history, and add in the paranormal. That is the best way to do it i think. Its probably why bible movies are so popular.

I don't remember when was the last time I actually went out to watch a movie in theaters, but I'm definitely going out to see this movie.
Have to admit, he manages to bear a somewhat good resemblance to Bela Lugosi.
This movie looks like it's going to top all of Cage's other "over-the-top" performances. And that is indeed "high praise".

This movie is a jewel... I don't get why they released it in April and so close to the Mario movie... This should've been an October release. It's so sad the movie isn't making a lot of money. This is a brilliant horror-comedy.
Also, one critic mentioned that the only way this movie would've worked is if they had cast Nicolas Cage as Dracula... which they did, so that's hilarious and 100% true.

Just saw this. Laughed my ass off! Knew it was going to be campy - but this is Tim Curry worthy Campy! OMG loved everything about it! Awesome performances. How anyone could see the headline cast and the preview and think this is a serious horror movie I don’t know! This was hysterical 😂!

Nicholas Hoult is pretty cool. Kill Your Friends is one of my favourite movies. He`s done well for himself since Skins. I love seeing actors gain success. John Boyega is another one who grew massively from Attack The Block, another brilliant British movie.

Movie looks really fun. I'm not loving that every one of his teeth is a fang... it's making it difficult for Cage to talk without a lisp. But other than that, really fun looking.
Thats how its supposed to sound in a way. Certain versions Dracula has 1 fang, 2 fangs and others, or several fangs and 2 major canines. This version is based off the flesh eating vampire not the blood sucking one. More teeth. BUT he also has 2 major fangs I believe.
