    Just bought this gun. Totally with you on M-LOK. I like to do a bit of airsoft where attachments are more prevalent (esp with night vision games) and I only used pict rails with ease. I bought this and it found it is quite faff to have some things M-LOK and others picatinny. But this gun is amazing. It seems to be very good all around because it is easy to configure. At the moment it is my new HFT config with a fixed zoom scope, a Maestro Designs picatinny hamster and the Rowan Engineering single shot loader. Absolute perfection!

    Great video, I've had my S510TR in .22 for about 6 months now and I've only just come across your video. My S510TR is similar to yours in that the butt stock has a small amount of movement when it is fully closed, however this isn't actually a position, hence why it has that miniscule movement. My moderator is removable (i believe some of the early production S510TR's didn't have removable mods) and I've fitted a best fittings adapter to allow the fitting of any 1/2" UNF moderator, mine now sports a Weihrauch XL and it's really quiet. The 0.75" cheek piece on the standard Magpul CTR butt stock isn't adjustable, however it is detachable, and you can purchase different height cheek pieces to fit (I believe in 0.25" & 0.5" heights). I've fitted a Magpul PRS Lite butt stock and it's so much better than the CTR. Overall I'm really impressed with my S510TR and it's definitely a keeper.
    I would be interested in the shoot off with the Benjamin Armada that you mentioned, if you get round to filming it.....cheers for the great video....👍

    The reason the stock moves is because fully collapsed isn’t a “position” it doesn’t click into place. That’s why when you pull it out to the first position it locks more positively. No US dealers selling this standard length model, it’s all XS which isn’t even listed on AA website weird

    • @zubysan
      @zubysan  Před 2 lety +2

      Sorry to complicate matters but instead if the Vixen I’d go for an Uragan. And if it’s a choice between an Uragan and the Air Arms, that’d be a hard choice…both accurate, both great to shoulder but the Uragan has a higher shot count but the S510TR has all the tactical look and feel. Depends what’s important to you at that point…

    • @danielreynolds1211
      @danielreynolds1211 Před 2 lety +2

      @@zubysan The tactical look of the air arms I'd a big selling point. It just looks like something the hitman games. I do like the look of the uragan but isn't tit quite heavy? I've even looked at a brocock and an fx impact yesterday so my head is well and truly messed up now 😂 I think the best course of action is to just get more than 1.

      I have an fx dreamline tactical and have no complaints about it, and the shot count is brilliant. But I also have a s510 TDR and I find it better to shoot,I don’t know why because on paper the dreamline is a better rifle but I always using the TDR.👍🏼

      @zubysan  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi there. Thanks for the kind words about the review and apologies for not mentioning the pellets I used. I used JSB Exact Diablo 8.44g 4.51 skirt size to get the groupings in the video but naturally try different skirt sizes and even pellets if you find your barrel doesn’t quite like them. But truth be told you can’t go too far wrong with JSB Exacts for .177. I also fill up the rifle about 10 bar short of max pressure and normally shoot down to about 100 bar before refilling

    Great vid mate , bought a S510t yesterday , and put the pic rail underneath , bit sceptical that the " loc " is seated properly , yes it feels secure , but you just cant see ... did you remove your M LGoc frame to reposition your pic rail ? Then the bolt would be visible , and positioned correct

    • @zubysan
      @zubysan  Před 2 lety

      Hi Mark. I spent AGES on this MLoc rail; first removing it and then positioning it in the right place and making sure the rifle was positioned in such a way that with a super bright LED torch, I could see what was going on underneath as I positioned and then screwed in the nuts. What a complete faff and I don’t get it when people say it’s fast and convenient, because it totally isn’t. Unless I’m doing it wrong…

      Same here , but just fixing rail ( supplied one ) thing is , you cant see the flat plate that locks to rail .. easy way is to remove rail , then do it , kinda makes it no so fast . Thst said , I suppose you only have to do it once each time .. still a pain in the arse ... ironically , got 2 small ones coming off eBay , why ive bought them god only knows .. can attach a torch I suppose ... but that will look stupid in daylight down the range .. btw , the Key - loc system looks easier ...

      @@markhomer5704 do you think it would be easier to remove the hole rail from the rifle then then take the mlock pic rail and fore grip on the main rail then reattach it, I'm getting my 510t tomorrow so I'm just trying the find the best way to move that pic rail

      Cam , I had a couple of side rail pics delivered last week , 3 slots , put them on as normal , and you can see with a torch how the M-Loc fixes in .. once you've lined them up and slotted through , they kinda settle into place themselves as you screw the allen key in ... yes , im still a bit sceptical if you cant quite see .. , I think its only 2 bolts that hold the rail on anyway , if you want to make really sure .. once on though .. the pic rail is rally secure and sturdy , easily accommodating a bi - pod .. and obviously a torch on the side , should you choose to go that way ...
      Ps .. try AA Express in it ( no wind about )
      An excellent , light and well balanced rifle your buying , and more importantly ACCURATE ..
      Pps didnt attach the fore grip , using the supplied rail for a bipod .. only shoot at a range these days ( occasional rat / squirrel in garden despatched ) and 30 mtr range in garden

      I’m sorry Ed, unless you know a dealer in the UK that’s prepared to ship one to the U.S., your best bet is to wait until they’re released stateside. That way if you get one from a US dealer, if anything goes wrong then all you have to worry about is domestic shipping
