the chassis itself will soon be available to fit older models such as the s400 and derivatives.
it takes most of the common ar15 hardware and is factory supplied with magpul butt stock,grip and fore grip
Cracking looking rifle 👍 My mate got the s510t couple weeks ago, very nice indeed. I've got a s400 and would love to put it in one of these chssis. Also just bought a hft500 with one of your hampsters.

Yep at last. Dan and I are working on some parts to make it more target comp focused too. Should open up a whole new breed of target shooting options going forward. And an even broader audience.
I've had an hft500 action in this one for a bit and it has some serious potential 😀

I've got a S400 MPR FT at the moment, and looking to get another HFT500, both will benefit me being in this stock because 'Allegedly' I'm tall 😂

Hi, lovely rifle there.I’ve just purchased the S510 TR in .177 (sub 12fpe) myself and so far so good. Did you ever try Slugs in your 510, if so which worked best for you please? All the best, happy shooting.
I've tried a few different slugs through it, it's not great in all honesty mag loaded,but acceptable with a SS loader. The 10gn zans where not too bad 😉

I love your gun setup. Did you get your stock/cheek rest/butt hook from Magpul, or somewhere else? I want to set up a US field target hunter division (20 fpe) gun that is accurate, light, and can achieve a 12 inch length of pull. Regards.
Hi mate. The rear end was originally sourced as a paintball stock. I chopped it all about and modified the cheek riser mech. It's very solid and turned into something quite decent with a bit of work. It should allow the shorter lop you need.

How does this fare against the Katran. Torn between the two for an all rounder bench/pest control/HFT. Seems both are versatile guns with the right stock work.
Currently that's like choosing between my dogs as favourite.. they are very different in layout and neither is the perfect hft rig. Both make awesome pest control tools and I'd say the AA just edges the katran for all out accuracy off the bench. But I love the size and the way the katran handles and the extra magazine capacity option although I mostly single shot load.
Flip a coin I'm sure you would be equally happy with either 😉

@@garywilson6146 the channel is still very much a work in progress but will be exactly the same as I run my business. No bs,no pandering to manufacturers and honest opinions wether they will be popular or not 😉

very nice! just got an s510tr, i want to paint the butt stock and fore-end, can you give me any info bes way to go about it?
Probably the best option would be having the parts caracoated, it's a much tougher finish than paint.
As I mentioned in the video, this one wasn't anodized it was just bare ali. I've got a nice textured feel with truck bed liner (halfords finest) and some flat green over the top.But it's not a particularly robust finish and scuffs quite easily. Ceracoat is super tough 😉
@@tillysgunstocksdo you have any recomendations of where to get parts ceracoated in the uk? Will be ordering one these in the next week or so and living in wet and windy south wales, its hard to keep the rust off blued steel lol, is it just the main tube that would need coating or anything else while im at it?
The through hole in front of the air gauge and behind the forend fixings. What's that for? Sling mount?
Yeah I guess so, it's the right sort of size for a carabiner type clip.

How have you managed to own it for two years you lucky sod , I'm correct in thinking it's only been on the market for 12 months Max ,am I wrong ?

Any ideas on a palm rest for these 🤔
It's pretty straight forward if you wanted to make a palm rest. I prefer to use m5 rail nuts on the inside the stocks fore end ,rather than use the mlok. Just have to make access to the bolt holes that affix the hand guard section,to the mid section of the chassis.
So you affix the hamster with the handguard off the rifle. Then refit the handguard once hamsters on 😉

Is it easy enough to detach the stock?
Yep 2 small bolts for the hand guard section first. Then a standard stock bolt to remove the mid and rear section as 1piece 😉
