- Hey everyone and welcome to Hold Fast Moto! Todays video we are comparing the Saddlemen Step up extended reach seat side by side with the stock Harley seat. The first half of the video we measure both seats to give you and idea of the dementions. At the 6:54 minute mark we see the seat on the bike and compare riding position to give you an idea of where the rider is positioned with each seat. Thanks for tuning in, enjoy!

How long have you had it? How many miles/ hours can you put in before any pain or discomfort?
@@OBS_Austin15 ive had a saddlemen since march and ive gone 3 hours straight with out stops on highway between stops, that was the longest i had run in it straight before needing to pull over for a refresher.

I do not understand how the extended reach was smaller than the stock? How do you gain 2 inches back when it’s a smaller seat?

How long did it take for you to get the seat? Awesome review I’m waiting on mine to get here…
Mine came pretty quick through 2 lane life I want to say it was about 3-4 weeks back then but the supply might be better and there for quicker now hopefully 🙏🏻
@@holdfastmoto I don’t knw man I’m coming up on week number 4 rite now… lol the guy I spoke to says he needs to reach out to the makers of the seat to see where it is…lol
Has it broken in yet, and are you satisfied with it ?
It definitely broke in, some people were saying it took like 500-1000 miles to break in but I personally felt like after 5+ rides that it felt like it became much less stiff and way more comfortable, I really enjoyed the blue stitching for customizing it to my bike but I did end up getting the blue sticking in the step up SDC pro version just because I wanted to be slightly moved forward. Now that could honestly be me overthinking it but the switch was very minimal in position change and wasn’t due to a lack of comfort in the seat. I would just suggest if possible finding someone with the seat that way you can sit and try it yourself for positioning to figure out the right choice for you 🤙🏼
@@holdfastmoto Yeah the Pro with the backrest was what got me looking at them but most everyone comments they get pushed forward and sit higher. I’m looking seriously at Lucky Dave Lucky Bagger Seat but they’re sold out for now.
Yeah when I ordered my saddlemen it was about 2 months before it came in, I’ve always heard good things about lucky Dave seats, do they have an eta on when they come back in stock?
@@holdfastmoto No. The lady told me that if i hit the add to cart button a "notify me" when back in stock window will appear, so thats what I did.
