- We receive so many questions asking if the #HarleyDavidson #reachseat is worth it. In this video we modify the OEM Harley Davidson Seat for a #RoadGlide to match the height and width of the reach seat. This is the same seat for a #StreetGlide and #ElectraGlide #bagger #atomiccycleworks

Just watched and loved the video, looking at getting mine done versus buying a completely new one. Fitting it looks like the best way to go.
Looks good. Really see the difference in the two seats.
reminds me of my upholstery classes i had in junior hs in the 60's.
Nice work Eddie...
Harley reach seats are for short people it supposed to bring you lower and up closer to the controls not further back
They do push you forward however because of the rake of the seat they end up pushing you up the neck. The seat we built in this video lower you almost two inches lower allowing you extreme foot stability. Most riders need to go down not forward on those bikes.
I can see why most people want that but I think it is more important to be closer to the controls than flat foot the bike. I am 5’2” and did not get comfortable with a bigger bike until I did that. it’s about being able to reach the handlebars well when you have the handlebars all the way turned to control the throttle and clutch in slow turn maneuvers prevents from having to duck walk a bike which is not as efficient . Ride like a pro jerry palladino has lots of videos on this
I'd love to have you do my 2015 Ultra limited down about 2in and back one.
Feels good to sit more in the bike.
Do you happen to have a website I really appreciate your talent! I have a custom painted 2010 street glide that I'm trying to find a look for it to flow with the colors...and I watched your seat that you made with fiberglass pan my bike doesn't have anything thing done to the tank so would you have a pan or do you have to have the bike there to have a fiberglass pan? Thanks have a great weekend!
I love what you did to that seat. I would like to contact you about doing the same to mine. I want a lower and back a bit, just like the one you did. Even looks much better also!
Email orders@atomicautoworks.com thanks
That’s talent
I think this is exactly what I want done to my 07 electra glide seat. Do you ever turn the factory 2 up into a solo? This would be great!
Yes we do.
Yes we do.
What does making it narrower at the front do? Make it more comfortable? I’m looking at a Tri glide and find I’m too close to the tank(that’s the feel anyway). I Want to be back and lower
Nice custom
What's the average cost for the customer to get this done? I'm out of state could I ship my seat to you to have this done? Is there a way to keep the depth and back support while lowering the passanger 2ish inches?
To modify the foam and reuse the factory cover usually runs around 250.00 thanks
I need the exact same thing done to a mustang touring seat. I've bren looking at hd reach seats on line. It I dont want to be pushed up on the tank. What kind of time frame would it take to have you modify mine?
We can usually modify any existing seat.what’s the year make and model? Email it to customize@atomicautowotks.com
What product did you wipe on the seats?
We use some harsh chemicals to take glue and pen marks. Usually mineral spirits and dish was detergent.
How do I reach you? Thanks!
