New Thrashin Supply T bar set up for the Road Glide

Today we are throwing on some custom dynamics pro beam turn signals up front and back as well and cleaning up the rear end of the bike removing one of the reflectors above the license plate bracket to give us what is for now the final product for the rear end modifications to the Road Glide

Hey everyone! Welcome to Hold Fast Moto. Today we are removing the tribar from my road glide special, cutting the bag fillers to put back in and using custom dynamic plug in to make sure the lights and brakes work for the bike. Did anyone else have an issue where they lost their run lights?
I’m sitting in my garage currently with this issue
Have you tried putting it in the highest setting so you can get your foot under the brake pedal and if you didn't do you think it would work if you did.
Did the thrashin kit come with a speedo harness extension or can you use the stock harness? And how are your forks working out with no cowbells? Any issues not running dust seals?
Yeah it came with an extension and so far no issues, when I go to rebuild the forks eventually I will add those but for the mean time it’s been good with no issues 👍🏼

Great video since I watched your videos i am planning to put 12’ La Chopper hammer bar on my 23 road glide!anyhow there are any issues or you change it to it just for better?Thanks and riding safe 😊
I didn’t have to change my cables for the 12 hammer head bars thankfully and there were no issues with the bars I just had originally wanted the thrashin set up but wanted some better bars in the mean time. They are a pain to wire with the bends but felt solid once you get them in there! 🤙🏼
I've been looking at these for my road glide AND I've been looking at the hoopteez too. Lol. Looks great man.

Great video! I’ve ridden through there, it’s not to be missed. I left work early on a Thursday and took a 4 day trip through Sequoia, Kings, Napa, John Muir Woods, SF, and then down PCH - no plan, no reservations and so much fun
That sounds like an absolute epic trip, we all need to have more trip like that in our life !
Did you have to extend your cables at all?

I do not understand how the extended reach was smaller than the stock? How do you gain 2 inches back when it’s a smaller seat?
How long does it take to ride through Sequoia on a motorcycle? And, what cities are close if going west out of the north exit?
What was the cost of this whole set up

I would have kept the old bar setup on it....Everybody has the T-Bar Setup...

I like their pipes too and it would sound great with the 475 cam in it! Makes its feel like a whole new bike ! 🙌🏼

I recently ordered those floorboards a shifter peg(orange for front and black short peg for heal)and the short break arm but with the larger break pedal and the pedal mount or support…everything has shipped, in a few days, in a timely manner except the break pad mount?….without any explanation of the why or how that part could not be included in this shipment… a little disappointed 😮But on a brighter note, am glad to have the rest of my order on the way and am excited to see how it all adds to the appearance of my 2022 street glide st…😎

So I'm an inch taller than you and have a La Pera extended reach saddle that puts me back about 2" and down about 1" from the stock saddle. Are you on a stock or extended reach? Trying to decide 12 or 14" LA Choppers Threshers. Thanks in advance.
So that seat was a extended reach seat pushing me back about 2 in, I think if you want more options in bringing the bars back to you, you would be able to get closer with 14 in that being said the 12 in bars felt pretty good to me and if your reach is long than mine you can push the bars forward to get a better feel I thought the 12 in felt pretty solid however I think the 14s your wouldn’t have issues with either just depends on if you like a little more height in your bars
@@holdfastmoto I can't have them too high-rotator cuff issue but the stock bars are too low. I'll get someone to help me measure. Thank you for responding!
Ill be driving up there tomorrow with my coworker.... thank for the info on the park pass.. it be our 5 trip this year. His on a honda rebel & ill be on my mt-07 this time.
It was a real fun ride, I think you would have lots of fun on the mt-07 especially with how twisty the roads are up in the park 🤙🏼
@holdfastmoto It was an awesome trip. It took us 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there. We got there early enough to where we didn't get any traffic going up. Talk about a sharp U-turn. ... Planning a trip to Yosemite next. 👌

Super happy for you brother I love your excitement be safe out there I too have the 475 cam and I was wanting to know if the sound is overbearing like for radio but I have an aftermarket radio
I will say these pipes are loud especially turned and with the cam, I listen to music mainly in my helmet with my Cardo and I have no issues, to be honest I do not use my speakers much I would think city streets you’d be fine but might be a bit louder at free ways speeds with the added wind noise as well. But if your radio set up is aftermarket it may beat that out
The bassani fish tail mufflers i ordered come in today for my 99 electra. So excited, test drove a road king with them and was instantly hooked on the sound during decel. Got a 2-1 on my m109r which sounds amazing flooring it on the highway

Looks sounds great. Would love to see the dyno chart. What HP and torque does that setup make for you? I am thinking of the same setup on a RGST.
For mine I believe the numbers were 107 hp and 110 torq to the rear wheel !
@@holdfastmoto Cool. Still happy with the work that was done by the shop? And just curious, did you upgrade your stock cam plate/pump and throttle body?
With the cam upgrade how bad is the vibration in the bars
It’s not bad honestly, I will say you’ll notice it more at idle at a stop but when your on the throttle and moving it hasn’t been big enough that I notice it or think about while I’m riding if that makes sense?

I’m looking at thresher bars. They are very similar. Getting the 12 inch. I’m 5’6” so I’m a little nervous.
With you bending them back towards you it’ll lower the height a bit, I hope they fit perfectly and you love them 🤙🏼

I’ve got a ‘22 street glide special with the 114. I’m doing my cam and cam chest/oil pump etc on Sunday. I’m so giddy already and hearing how stoked you were makes me happy I’m doing it. Glad you’re loving it bro

Did you go on any long trips and if so what were your impression? Did your really feet have any fatigue? Never even thought about fatigue in the feet till you mentioned it.
I’d say theres more vibration that I noticed right when I changed them out but now I don’t really notice. The thing I enjoy the most about them is how I can put my foot in multiple positions during a long ride. I can put them at the front of the board stretching my legs or put them more at 90 degrees under me. I think they are a tad higher underneath so less scraping happens, not 100 % on that but I think I’ve noticed that as well.
