Love it, just be careful with holding cars up with cinderblocks. Two cases in the last year here in North Carolina of cinderblocks crumbling and pinning someone under a car. Both survived but with serious injuries
Guy I know here in Missouri lost his foot using them.. jack stands Sprayway
Old cinder blocks
Thanks GoalieLife. I really appreciate the concern, it’s greatly appreciated 🤝
@@SprayWayCustoms
The safest way I know is cross ties cut and doubled a little longer than cinder blocks and doubled and stacked another layer on top going the other direction crossing the bottom ones, with a piece of plywood that fits on top of that.. Good and safe on level ground... (Good hardwood cross ties, not the old bad ones)... Phillip Hall
@@SprayWayCustoms black disc paint should be remove when braking? How? 🤔
I 100% and a fan of your channel. Your painting skills are superb. With that said painting your brake rotors and the calibers... Never, ever paint a brake contact surface. Yes brake pads will burn off the paint from the rotor but in doing so it contaminates the brake pad and we'll lead to glazing. Blazing is basically slick spots where all of the porous components in the brake pad have now been filled in with a substance. This reduces your ability to brake and increases the distance it takes you to stop in any situation. I like my car to look good... It doesn't have to look half as good as much as it has to stop though. It don't even have to roll but it damn sure has to stop. That is the most important part of any car. So I'm going to recommend that people don't do this. If you want to paint the center hub of your rotor mask off. If you want to paint the brake caliper, take it off and remove the pads hang it inside the tire well. Just do not paint your damn braking surfaces 🤦. This has been a PSA that could save your life.
Thanks for the info
Been watching this man for many many years! That’s how I started painting at home and I’m painting all of my buddies cars! Thank you !

& Just sharing a old school trick Sometimes using tinfoil to cover up suspension parts is ez too By the way you inspired me to use Big Flakes on this n that like I did my Eldorado taillights after putting thinned down black on them and then rainbow flake in clear over them I was surprised how many people didn’t know about metalflake they liked it It got noticed 🤔
That’s what’s up. Thanks for the support man
Thanks for the tip about the oven cleaner. Old dogs do learn new tricks. Keep em coming. Love them and Thanks for sharing

Now the brake system looks very clean those small details really pop out when admiring the rims.
Thanks
Awesome finish and exactly how I've been doing them for last 20 years 👍🏻not sure if you've noticed or changed them now but at end of video both front wheels are on the wrong side as rotation arrow on tyre wall pointing the wrong way. Loving the 22's they look fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks a lot
Love this red , so beautiful .
Thanks Galle
That Beemer coupe looks great👍 You did everything the same way I did mine, for exception of I didn't use a spray gun. I used aluminum foil to mask off the calipers, it molds right to it🤣🤣 Great job bro!! 👏👏👏

Great work and video 👍🏻as always!!! Hey in your next cut and buff video can you go over how often you change the the sand paper and how you take care of your buffing pads or if you buy all new ones every time? I think that would be good content for your videos thanks so much for all your videos I’ve learned so much!!!
Sure can Dan....I have one coming up
I gotta I love your videos bro, there extremely educational without boring you to sleep. You did this video just in time because I've been considering painting my calipers on my kona which is white so the red should look great. The decals you used, do they last and where did you get them? Thanks again for the videos👍👍

Thanks....I have a 60 gallon
Looks great nice video!
Thanks a lot
Sprayway the truth
Thanks fam
Wow! Those calipers look exceptionally beautiful! How are the coatings on them - and the rotors - holding up under the heating effects of braking after this time?
Thanks again Mike
No. It doesnt last, and it contaminants the pad material cause its cover the contact/surface area
And like you said w the heat
It doesnt last. High heat paint is needed. Heat the parts, paint it, bake the parts. Cover pad surface area of it fills the pads porus material and glazes them after it backs in
This vid is a bad way to do it
thanks for this
Thanks for watching
Looks good
Thanks
Looks awesome, I want to paint mine red, yellow is under consideration, and I'm gonna buy black Rims it's gonna be lit!
Yes indeed…that yellow will look good behind the black
Cleaning her up, looks good man. Good video sir.

Not even interested in the least to learn how to paint but keep finding myself watching your videos. LOL It's like they're addictive or something. Got a question though I have a 1970 Chevelle hardtop in the process of being restored looking to do a red base coat clear coat with white stripes what colors do you recommend the brighter the better meaning the best paint brand and name of that red and white paint. My CZcams cover photo is the color I'm going for.
I use UreChem products. They have a bright red
Took me 4 days but dammmmmmm .....🍻😎you make it look so easy 😂😂😂
Thanks man
Bro,is there anything you can't do,In my Big Red voice from the five heartbeats lol, amazing as always keep up the good work 👏 👍 👌 💪 🙌

Tuned In

question if you paint the disc when you stop the brake the pain not scratched?
It’ll come off
cheaper than brembo brakes with the same look awesome 👌 job
Thanks 🙏
It’s hard to believe you have time to do something on your vehicle’s looks good bro
Thanks Antonio
Beautiful car brother
Thanks Ronald
I wanna do this to my ride. But I've heard that I can't use regular paint and it must be high temp paint because the rotors and calipers get very hot. Please let me know if all is well after this man
I use regular automotive paint and this was done about a year ago and it still looks like the day I painted it
Dope video. I painted my rotor fins, center and calipers. Real clean look I just did the rotors off the car since I was changing everything anyway.
Thanks man...that’s what’s up
BMW sitting nice perfect thats the way i want my TL sitting
Thanks Rob
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Jason
So getting paint on the rotor surface doesn't cause any issues with stopping?
No, the pads will clean it right off after a couple stops
Do you think the spray paint will hold up on the rotors?
Yes, it still looks great after almost a year. I done this last year but never posted the video
there's power sanders and power drill wire brush attachments abs sets for this
Yep
Parts looking good Spray!! What no cut and buff? LMAO
Not this time 😂😂
How long does this finish last on the calipers and the rotors?
As long as the car
🔥🔥🔥💪
Appreciate you
You did that bro look good than powder coat
Thanks Jason
Damn that shit look good fam
Thanks Brandon
@@SprayWayCustoms no problem fam I’m a fan fr keep it up I watch all ya videos
That spray paint might glaze your pads out. Let it dry and use some laquer thinner to clean the brake pad contact on the rotor.
This was done about a year ago and it’s currently my daily driver
SprayWayCustoms I really enjoy your vids and the work you turn out,but just a word of caution..Oven cleaner should never be mixed with ANYTHING else due to the possibility of toxic fumes, and it's chemical make up also acts as a pain deadener to your eyes,so you can blind yourself with it and literally not feel it happening..stay safe my man and keep cranking out the good work.
Thanks for the concern 🤝
What’s up sprayway!!! I need my dash redone in my 84 Chevy Impala.
When you trying to get it done?
@@SprayWayCustoms as soon as possible.
