Anti-Gun Marine Says There's No Use Case For Machine Guns In Civilian Life

- Chris Cuomo interviewed Democrat Congressman Jake Auchincloss from Massachusetts, who is also an ex-Marine. Jake went on to say there's no use case for machine guns in civilian life and other anti-gun nonsense along with Chris Cuomo. So we need to debunk the nonsense they were saying:
- There is no use case for a machine gun in civilian life
- Comparing Bump stocks to Machine Guns
- Representatives Are Afraid of the NRA
- Guns are the leading cause of death of children
- Chris Cuomo says Unfortunately, Guns have become a symbol of individual liberty
- The only time regulation appears in the constitution is to describe how we should approach the handling of weapons
- He served in the Marine Corps and knows what these weapons of war can do

As well he can both be a dishonorable serviceman and have been honorably discharged from the service. Especially as a Marine as "once a Marine always a Marine" is deeply ingrained and upheld in the branch's culture so his actions post service will always be in that shadow even if he didn't freely share and hinge his credibility/appeal to authority on his past service as a Marine his current actions would still dishonor his service. Also to note a soldier doing this would still be in the same boat imo just the Marines hold title after service highly in their culture so it's even a bit worse to see a Marine acting so beneath himself.

A lot of people, especially those _in_ the government and law enforcement, don't think of the gov't and LE as "civilians." You can see it all the time in the way they phrase things. My personal favorite was an "expert" witness who said that "civilians" don't need automatic weapons because they're not just unnecessary for self-defense, they're _worse_ than slower-firing weapons. In the same testimony, he said that LE _needs_ automatic weapons, which, since they're supposedly _worse_ for self-defense, would imply that every time an LE officer or agent has used an automatic weapon, it was not self-defense and was therefore murder.

Funny how they argue 2A is only for the militia. But go nuts every time a militia has guns as well.
Same applies here. no more Oath breakers.
Excellent quote. Needs repeating. The founders didn't stutter. They knew what they meant and wrote it. The 2A simply says "arms". ALL arms were protected.
This "dangerous and unusual" BS is modern revisionist history and isn't even supposed to be about the weapons but a dangerous and threatening manner of carry!
Sure those arms in common use are protected -- but so are the rest, including machine guns which would be especially useful for the primary purpose of the 2A -- ensuring the security of a free state from tyranny!
No arms are inherently dangerous, except for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear weapons and those with design or manufacturing defects such as metallurgical problems or maybe a bad trigger sear geometry that is prone to unintended discharge.
Arms don't simply act on their own -- it requires a person to act. The arm is simply a tool which can be used for good as well as evil, depending on the intent of the user.
Evil actions by evil people are what matters, not objects. Put actual, dangerous criminals in jail and leave the rest of us the hell alone!

A talking head of treason and Cowardice.
Thank you Colion, for referring to the USA as a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, not a democracy.
Q: why do you need a machine gun?
A: that’s none of your business.
Case closed
If he's anti-gun, he's an embarrassment to the Marine Corps
Jake Auchincloss was nothing more than a officer, and a military officer is nothing more than a politician in the end.
With the military is these days, I think you're somewhat right. The higher the rank, the more political...
Not always. I worked with some damn good officer during my enlistment. I did work with some piss poor officers too, just to be fair. But it depends on the MOS, the person wearing the rank, and the time and location of service.
What was he a 20 year major? I worked for one of those. A more toxic non Marine you couldn't find.
That fussy baby has replies limited on Twitter posts.
0-7 and above are politicians.
We need to focus on responsible gun ownership and education rather than blanket bans and fear-mongering.
But, but, but if they don't use blanket bans and frae mongering, how can they disarm the law abiding so they can seize absolute power permanently? 🤣🤣🤣
Weird. I was in Iraq at 19 years old. Guess I can have any military weapon at that age, as long as I'm serving their corporate and financial interests. But defending myself and loved ones? Too far man!
Last I checked, the 2nd amendment said nothing about needing a “use case,” to exercise your constitutional right.
It does say "shall not be infringed".
The word gun grabbers have a problem comprehending is "not".
Well, if the former marine-turned-oath breaker feels so strongly about a "use case" to exercise the Second Ammendment, i wonder if he would just as strongly support the same for his First Ammendment. After all, the use of speech by those in power has led to the deaths of millions, if not billions, throughout history. How would he feel aboit maybe his Fourth, or any of them for that matter...stupid power-hungry politician and oath-breaker...
