    you mentioned we can't finish sentence on preposition so what about where are you from? Please reply on it

      Because it is Question (I think). Such as
      - What are you looking for/at?
      - Who did you go to the party with?
      - What are you talking about?

      Such a great comment! I tend to use this as a general rule as, historically speaking, this is the way that language was designed. Having said that, in modern English, we do sometimes see prepositions at the end of sentences (especially in questions). Where are you from? sounds much more colloquial and modern than "from where do you come?" 😃
