- The Chicago Cubs kicked off a home series vs the San Diego Padres on Monday Night.
Justin Steele got the ball for the Cubbies, making his first start since injuring his hamstring on Opening Day. Steele went 4.2 IP, striking out 2 and allowing no earned runs. The game was knotted up at 0 until the Padres broke through with a 6-run 6th inning off the Cubs' bullpen. The Cubs trimmed the lead to 3, but lost to the Padres 6-3.

I get the bullpen was no good. But guys.. this offense is piss poor. Like no one can expect this team with no seiya and no belli to compete with the better teams in the league and yet they're still winning series after series. Tired of all the bashing. A hitter, in baseball, is considered to be GOOD, when he succeds 30% of the time!!! Players get hot and players get cold. Loving them when they're hot and hating on them when they're cold is called being a fair weather fan. Happ will be starting in LF, for the rest of the season.........get over it. Again, you can't live and die with every game. I called people out for annointing Palencia as the new closer, after his outing against the Brewers too. Judgement should be held for the end of the season.
