Question. My T4 Honeywell ProSeries thermostat was showing the ability to temporarily and permanently hold the temperature when I would set the temperature, but now after three weeks, it has suddenly disappeared. Any clue how to get the setting back

I reset the thermostat heat up the house for about 10 min. and for the next 5 min cool air and then heat up the house again

I recently moved to a new home, and it comes with one of these pro series units. However, when I try to add it on the Resideo app (formerly Honeywell Home) it tells me that it was registered before. Surely the previous owner must have registered it. So, will reseting the unit allow me to add this device to my account? The previous owner is kind of a jerk, and I would rather not ask him. if your main furnace goes down there is another heat source wired up to operate at the flip of a switch.
