@@jcheck6 no regrets at all. I like the 300 much more. The tranny and clutch are much better. I am happy with the non-rally version as I like to keep the bike feeling as light and nimble as possible. I don't moto camp. Most of the time we trailer to an area and go from there. I think if you liked the 250 you will like the 300 more. I did get the ABS version. I haven't turned it off even when riding offroad. The rear end never tries to pass me up, especially on steep declines. I have loved the bike so far.

There's a Dutch gal that has one of these but box stock, she bought it in Holland, flew it to Ecuador? and is riding it loaded to Alaska. It is as reliable as a hammer, she changes tires, filters, and oil and hits the starter and goes. When it tips over she can pick it up, pry it out of the mud, it goes over mountains and through the rivers. A very under-rated bike. Great big bikes are for coffee shops and bragging, not off road

Itchy Boots (Noraly) is an amazing gal. Smart as a whip, down to earth,
      and an epic world traveler.

Awesome Bikes! Wish I had one of those when I rode down to central America from Washington State and back....did it on a DR650 but I had a 6 gallon tank with a 350+ mile range.

@blancolirio check out Noraly from the 'Itchy Boots' channel, she's riding a Honda CRF300L Rally from South America all the way up to Alaska! Prior to this she did 22000km through Africa on a smaller CRF250 model. Maybe you guys can meet up when she's close to Sacramento...

Lol thats cool Juan to see you someplace I have been a dozen times at least, my family used to go to Wallace every summer on the short drive from here in Spokane, WA. Its a cute little town and my mom and grandma (may she RIP) loved going to the antique shops. And I actually have family around Idaho such as close by to Spokane in Post Falls and a little farther south in Lewiston (of course you covered the pilot who crashed there a year ago recently). But I am a Washington Patriot and still love where I live and grew up more.
