@@larryjohnson3033 thanks for watching. We had a blast making that trip.
Been thinking of getting my CDL back so I can work towards my own business u are a inspiration to me brudda daily watching videos to hear from u and others on maintenance for your trucks changes business management and more 💯
Thank you I really appreciate it !
This vid started and your face had a *HAPPY - PROUD* look on it and we're all happy for you guys - *YES* ! I love the shot (photo) of the truck dumping the sand. I watched that and thought the caption - *AND IT'S MINE* for YOU! Thanks for taking us along to places some will never get to. Long ride home + 7 loads and 'she' proved herself! *YES* !
Yes it’s been great so far . Thanks for watching sonny!
Detriot 12 is the best looked for rite now💪🏾👍🏼
Awesome video brother
@@richh_jayy2351 thanks for watching!
Damn that beauty sounds good going down the interstate
Yes I love it !
Cool journey you took us. Bet your son remembers going on that with his dad for many years. Yeah no defroster will be a problem very quickly lol. Super nice truck you got there Steve!
Thanks . I hope he has great memories of hanging with me when I’m old and can do anything anymore 😂. Yeah I just ordered the parts for the defrosting system. Thanks for watching!
The engine\driveline really sounds good.......no unusual noises !
I’ve had it home for 3 weeks now and it’s been great . I’ve also gotten use to how it wants to be shifted up the hills and I love it now .
I grew up in Fall River. You’re the only trucker I’ve seen on here anywhere close to that area. You said phrases and names I haven’t heard in a decade 🤣 hope the truck is treating you well.
😂😂 yeah mass definitely has their own language. Truck has been great. So far I love it ! Thanks for watching!

Love a good trucking video!… truck seems really good, can’t wait to see you get it done up the way you want!
Yeah so far it’s been great. I probably won’t do anything major like paint till the summer. Just need it to make money for now . Thanks for watching!
Get that steering wheel clocked straight. Consider putting an Allison in that truck and regearing it.
I put a new steering wheel on when I got home. That red one had to go. I’m keeping the transmission in the gearing just the way it is. It’s perfect for me. I bought it specifically because of the specs.
@@DirtBrute to clarify, when I say click the steering wheel, align it so it’s straight when you drive. That series 60 sounds really good! If you haven’t heard a series 60 with an Allison, and Jake’s, it sounds amazing. I’ll share a video if you want to hear.
Short clip with a 500 hp Detroit in a fire truck: czcams.com/video/lVpZjvSdpH8/video.htmlsi=JnbTWUWK4mCN1Za_
Long clip: what it sounds like accelerating and jake braking from inside, skip to 2:25 that’s where it starts: czcams.com/video/kS-vdrMLHyg/video.htmlsi=ZAm-ZSAgKWUOJPl6
@@user-ln7of9gs4s yes I aligned it when I put the new one on. The series 60 has been great so far. I do t like automatic trucks . Thanks for sending me the videos!
Those 60 series are really reliable engines. They like to leak oil but they do run strong. Congrats on the truck good luck with it.
Thanks ! So far it’s been great . Don’t really leak as much as I heard they do. YET ! he said it was recently rebuilt but no paperwork so who knows. I do know someone has changed the oil pan gasket to an aftermarket gray one. I heard the oem black ones leak a lot . I’ve figured out how it likes to be shifted to grab the gears up hill and I’ll tell you it goes pretty good ! Thanks for watching.
Whats the best kind of dump truck to buy with the most reliable engines that don't give many problems
Looks like you got a good one, ggod luck with it guys.
Yes thank you for watching!
i thought we might see todd while going through NC lol...thumbs up !!
Lol I think Todd is inland more on the west side . The blue ridge mountains
OK you are back home and working the new truck.
Yes worked out great ! Thanks for watching
I bought 2 Trucks in Miami and Naples a year apart. Neither of the trucks had heat!! What a bitch! I took a plane down and drove back to Philly. 28 hrs! I was stupid, I drove straight back, I stopped and took a hour Power Nap here and there, but I just wanted to get the hell home!! Just got a 2008 T800 Kenworth this year with a Cat C-15, it’s a beast! Good luck!
Yeah I didn’t even think to look for heat when we were there.😂. It wasn’t bad to install. The truck has been great but your right that drive I’ve done before straight through and it was hell so I decided to just get a hotel this time . Thanks for watching and congrats on your new truck !
What's the best dump truck to buy with the best engines that don't have much problems?
@@Curtis-xn2oy I like late 90s early 2000- pre mission cat engines. I drove a 2003 Peterbilt 379 pulling a low bed for five years that never gave me any trouble. Had 1,300,000 miles on the engine before an in frame. Single turbo NBN cat. 18spd with 46k rears 3:73s
@@DirtBrute Ok so dump trucks have the same type of engine? The reason I'm asking is because I'm planning on getting my CDL and getting a dump truck I'm trying to decide should I try and get a newer model dump truck like 2020 or newer or a late model dump dump truck like 2002 I'm wanna avoid any break downs as much as possible
@@Curtis-xn2oy id get an older one to start. Every guy I know with a new then 2012 has nothing but problems with them .
Based upon the off centered position of your steering wheel , it appears you'll need come realignment of the front steering linkages when you get home !
No it drives perfectly straight and has had all new front end put in it . The guy just put the steering wheel on in the wrong position.I’ve Already replaced it with a new wood grain one . Thanks for watching!
Some trucks in those servos.
Hey Bud DDAY! 🤣
😂
i live close to your inlaws and i never turn my heat on
I can see why
I used to live in Braintree Massachusetts
Did you ever replace your fan shroud?
@@grumpysgararge5860 not yet. It’s on a list of parts if been looking for. It runs cool so I’m not in a big hurry to pay the dealer what they want . I just got some parts out of a wrecked truck . I’m on the hunt for some more used stuff
Heat
my first thought was “i bet he bought it in miami”😂😂 is it a real dump truck or a home made single frame one they are famous for?
No it’s double framed.
How much can you haul in Florida with that configuration?
I don’t know about Florida. I bought the truck and drove it home to Massachusetts where I can haul 77,000lb
I live in Florida.. tri axles only can carry 70k and tractor 80k but tractor can do overweight permit and do 88k
@@alexmomo1222 know of any local jobs around mid fl owner op?
Got $300 in gas and they give u a .99cent coffee lol
No one else along the way home did 😂
