This is the best tutorial that I’ve seen on this method. Thank you!

oh boy, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that uses elmers school glue to hold things in place on a quilt. thank you for explaining the economy binding. I am a devote' of Donna Robertson's 3 yard quilts and honestly I have never tried to do that binding. I do prefer the 2 1/2 inch binding with my clover bias tape maker. then on with the glue on bothsieds top and bottom - ironed in place to set the glue then sew once, and it gets the job done like yours with this video, it's all sewn on the binding strip not the quilt. I am also a fan of the elmers school glue sticks they work so well, and we know they wash out so no damage on the cotton quilt. (not sure if that would work on satins or other fabrics, I'll have to try that) you a Crafting Diva and I'm a Fan. I"m spreading your name to who ever will listen - Teri G.

I’ve only done the economy binding on one baby quilt, when I was really tight on fabric. It did give a nice tight mitered corner, but I feel safer with a traditional binding. I just put your wide seam guide in my Amazon cart. I need it in my life!
I’m binging your shows today! Hope my random comments aren’t annoying.

This tutorial was a great help. The glue is a great tip, too. Will try that. Thanks

I had an freak accident with my rotary cutter years ago. I always sew barefooted because for some reason I cannot sew with shoes on. I was reaching for my rotary cutter and hit it and it flipped off the table and of course it hit blade side down on the top of my foot! And of course I had a nice, fresh blade in. It cut my foot so bad I thought I was never going to get it to stop. So, lesson learned, close that blade ladies!

I have a blind hem foot and I have never used it. I got it in a quilting foot kit and I had no clue you could use it for binding

I have no idea how it's supposed to be used but I love it for binding

I've never seen binding done like this before. You are absolutely right about closing the binding by lining it up on the diagonal. I use The Binding Tool by Fons and Porter. I always get so confused. I absolutely love your fabric choices. I love how you match up your quilt pieces. Your quilts are AMAZING 💗.

Those glasses! 🥰. All the steps on sewing in the narrow binding was the best I have seen (and that’s a lit if videos). So clear and easy to follow. Now to find a blind hem foot for my BabyLock. 😊

That was awesome how you explained that binding. I was so confused trying to do that binding but, the next quilt I do I will not be confused. Question what is that food and that seam guide you had on the machine I definitely need to get those. Awesome 🤩 job. Thanks

The machine named Ayo has a seam guide that comes with it I use that to sew on the binding. To sew down the binding I'm using a blind hem foot on my singer
