I am MACC which is a play on my name's initials. I’m married to the coolest man in the whole world and am Step-Mother to three Amazing daughters. I live in sunny Los Angeles, California where I’m surrounded by all types of inspiration. I love all things Disney and can be found hanging out at the Disney theme parks.
M A Couture Crafting was established when I married my love for fashion and makeup with my love for Crafting. My favorite part of being a makeup artist was blending eyeshadow colors together -- especially weird color combinations. Thus, when I saw Dyan Reavely blend her inks together I was hooked. Soon after that, I bought a Cricut and began combining all my creativity.
On my page you can expect to see long nails (between 1/2”-5/8” never longer), vivid colors, ombre blends, rainbows, crazy quilts, irregular card sizes (A2 who?), mini albums (always with a matching box), canvas work (paint it, sew it, burn it, etc.), resin artwork and much more.

A suggestion is you just talk like you always do and do what you do- I love it!!! ❤
@kimr6683 lol thanks Kim you always have my back
Lovely seeing you on Friday … I recognized you but I was confusing your content with that of a garment-sewing CZcamsr channel with a similar name. “Do you quilt?” Derp.😖
Hi. Maybe you will have to break up the video in parts you know what i mean? Just a suggestion of course. 😊❤ ...if you can 😁 Other tip I always do the tea room 1st. I find u calmer in this video, maybe cause your tired or hungry . For me i still need 3 seconds on a label in order to pause the video and enlarge to read but dont worry Max I think there is someone else who does this style. I can even tell when people have had too much caffeine 😂 I just slow the speed down on theirs.
@jayneterry8701 I've got the other video too. This one was just a snippet. & I have a few others too.
Have you tried narrowing the side (end) pockets so that they don’t stick out so much? Thank you for the videos. This bag has been very intimidating for me!
@sandramckinney1856 now that I've started drinking water I like it for my water bottles
Miss seeing the vendors. They inspire my online shopping habit.
@bevricker4812 I don't usually put the quilts and vendors in the same videos. Stay tuned.
Thank you

Could you do those squares where the middle part is horizontal ?
@Tlea064 some are horizontal & vertical but you could play with the orientation for sure.
So glad to see you!

Cutter guy didn’t mention the flex light. I have one on order.
I'll be doing a video eventually and I want to include that and the spinner mat.
Hi Mac, missed the live streaming as I was at M&L Fabrics. Got some great pieces for a couple of 3 yard quilts. Took advantage of their 20% off sale. I was trying to channel you while I was looking at colors and patterns 😁
@@virginiaroberts3728 I bet you got some good stuff.
Hi from Georgia! I missed your live streaming. I can't believe that Candy's is closed. I will be coming to LA to attend a quilt retreat with Edyta Sitar in Oxnard from September 18-23. Are there any shops that I need to check out while I'm here? I plan to visit Pasadena and Long Beach areas.
@peggybright I feel like if you are in Long Beach you should go to M&L
Thanks for your honest opinions. I had almost decided on the Juki before taking it for a test run because I have heard from many bag makers that it’s the “go to” machine for that kind of sewing. Your comments have me thinking I need to try them both for myself!!!
@user-vm4fv6oy9u juki's are very popular but I love my HD9
@@MACoutureCrafting. Exactly! Every one was steering me to an M7, which is a beautiful machine but when I sat down at it, nothing felt intuitive. I don’t want to have to think about how to do everything- it was too advanced for my skill set at the time! When I sat at the BabyLock Chorus though, it felt very natural by comparison. Different people are drawn to different things. I own a Juki domestic (first machine) and it has that same foot pedal - I’ve never accidentally cut my thread and usually forget I can, so totally a non issue for me but I can see where it wouldn’t be great for everyone! Mostly though I just appreciate the reminder to form your own conclusions! I often don’t trust a lot of the comparisons from sponsored videos but yours is refreshing! Thanks again!
I am very into the pinky peach & black that Michael's has....and I mean all of it because Halloween all year is my vibe❤ I want like ALL of it
I love similar things to you. Loved the pink spider lights, the black heart, and those great skeletons on the pink and orange benches (you liked the 🛀 bathtubs.)
@@trishwinstead28 I liked those tubs so much.
I consider July 5th the time to shop for/put out/decorate for Halloween, with Thanksgiving sprinkled in!!
Lol. I guess this is a bit early but it's out and people should be thinking about their color stories now.
Thank you for this sew along! Just finished mine!
YESSSSSS. It's such a fun one.
love your tutorials and this is one I've been wanting to make. I do wish the By Annie instructions come in color. Any visual helps me. lol
I'm glad you popped in. I'm obsessed with this bag.
lol when you mentioned the hood. Joann fabric near me you would not even go inside, it’s too chaotic. I need to get to a Michael’s. My girlfriend starts her house in August, she’s very Goth.
I realized after I said it that it's probably a MAC problem. Most people can probably have lovely decorations and not have to worry about people trying to steal them. LOL
Man I totally forgot about the quilt run !! I always love these ride-alongs 🧵
I just did another store today. You are in the group you just have to check out the events tab
Another "spooktacular" show! Tula Pinks "the Stillroom" kit" with the poison/potion bottles has a free download pattern. Also on my bucket list is Tula's giant "Sugar Skulls" from her book "Quilt with Tula & Angela. Tula did a "juizh" (whatever your word is, I've heard cpl utubers copying you) version cpl years ago after book came out, on Facebook Tues where she cut out huge flowers fabs and appliqued on top of skulls and sacred hearts on the sides, etc. When u said u doing Halloween in July, instead of Xmas, made me think of Tula's patterns.
The color story that is happening right now at Michaels is such a TULA vibe.
Wow that Joanns looks fresh n clean and like a home goods.. come to SC our Joanns DO NOT look like that LOL
I love my JoAnns it's one of the largest in the world
How fun!! Wow your Michaels is huge! Such cute stuff!! Thanks for taking us along on your shopping journey!
I'm happy to do it.
a little early for Halloween?!?
You are not wrong but it's out so I have to show it before people hit it too hard. Come back and watch it with me in a few months
Storage afterwards can be an issue.

I'm happy to share some of mine.
It's got to be at least ½ million degrees in the valley.
you are not wrong
What a great ride along. The 1 thing that irks me is when I go to a new store and see fabric on the floor.. for as much $ as we pay per yard last thing I want is fabric with dust and toe kick marks.. with quilters edge.
I completely understand
Hi! I wish I could have attended the Sew Along. Grandkids...lol I'm in your area. About 1.4 miles from Sewing Arts Center. No car though. I may Uber over there one day this week. ❤❤❤❤❤
Sewing Arts is my jam Tell them I sent you
Thank you so much for going slow and showing exactly what you were doing. I’m new to quilting and this video really helped me. Your quilt is beautiful!
@@gayflax9195 welcome to the quilting club
I sew bags. Sling Bags, Tote Bags, etc. I design my own patterns. I need a machine that can use my design and cut out fabric based on my designs. I have several differently-shaped pattern pieces for each different bag. I'd like to be able to somehow get my designs - my shapes - into the machine and then have it cut them out for me. Can either one of these machines do that?
@debihumphrey3734 yes, both actually. There is a company that can make dies for the accuquilt machine for you. Sizzix is another cheaper option too. With the cricut you would have to have your design digitized to svg then you can use it too. If it were me I'd try accuquilt or Sizzix for ease of use.
Two minutes into the video and I literally clapped for you. Absolutely give people a quilt that is your best effort, a true gift. I would NEVER gift/donate a quilt I wouldn’t want to own and use. thanks for bringing this ‘idea’ to light and speaking about it.
You get me!
Just bought pre cut. Wasn't sure how to use it. THANK YOU!
