Not Gon Lie, this might have been my favorite part. I wish I'd thought of it earlier because I let some of the bests get away b4 I had the idea.
We've all heard the phrase, "stop with the quilt clothes" but just look at all the beautiful, innovative jackets, coats, sweatshirts, jewelry, bags, dresses...why not?? You've done a wonderful job of showcasing the artists as well as their creations. Amazing!!! but very wearable. ❤

Thank you for recording this. I have made several wardrobes of quilted clothing starting in the early 80's. If I walk out the door in cooler weather, I am in a quilted garment. I love wholecloths. A vest is a great place to try out a new quilting design. If people don't know I am a quilter, no one ever guesses I made it. I am happy and warm in my wardrobe that is uniquely me. I am always so happy to see others enjoying their creations and I enjoy seeing their unique personalities coming out in their garments.
Me too. This video made me so happy. I'm going to try some vest pieces.
I prewash fabric for things that are just patchwork. For quilted garments, I do the quilting on a piece that is bigger than the actual pattern piece by at least an inch on all sides I wash the sections after I quilt them, then I cut out my pattern pieces. That way they will be washable and not shrink in size.. @@MACoutureCrafting
