Glad you finally got a pair of riding boots. For me, gym shoes or even the low cut lace up boots (Indie Ridge, Timberland, etc) never really felt comfortable or safe. Been riding for over a decade with Iron Age steel toe engineer boots. You might find that after you get back, from your Milwaukee trip, the grip on the soles & heels might not good as well as when they were new. Answer is very simple, take them to your nearest shoe repair store and have them put on new soles & heels, with the heavy-duty Vibram brand. You don't lose the comfort of the boot you've already broken in, and I'm pretty sure you'll find the grip better than the originals. Yeah, I said decades that I've had this pair of boots & this is only the 2nd set of Vibram soles & heels in all that time. Be safe & I'll keep watching....

I have the same boot and the water proof did it for me also. I just recommend wearing thin socks

I prefer the style and function my TCX Street shoes, but these are great.
Waterproof boots are a must especially traveling long distance. For me boots with a heel I have to change my shifter position so keep that in mind😉

Harley boots are trash. I’ve been through 3 pairs of boots and 2 pairs of the high top riding shoes. They do not last. Indie ridge is the way to go.
They don't make them in any sizes bigger than 13. Eliminates me. Also not a fan of things made in Chiner.
