Harley Davidson of Lakewood will be delivering my red street bob Sunday. I had them install a torque cam, black tappet covers with black push rod covers, forward controls and Vance and Hines short shots like I had on my 2016 low rider s. I have been riding for almost 60 years. I love this bike and the sound of the short shots with the torque cam. Brings back my younger days. Keep riding it helps you stay young. Good luck and thanks for your info.

For anyone thinking of upgrading from a sportster to this. I Just moved on from the 833 to this bike and it is CRAZY. I was worried about it being to big. That’s honestly what kept me from moving up but I did a test ride and couldn’t believe how smooth and nimble it was. It hard to explain in words how it is you really would have to do a side by side but seriously that was the best bike move I’ve made.

I also put an one inche longer Fox shock on it. It could also use 180 rear tire since you can spin the back up much to easy. Great channel.

What up MK87! Coming from a 2021 Iron 883 River Rock Denim Gray (my very first bike ever) with 13 miles on her traded up to a 2021 9 months later for the Black with the orange graphics. I did not ride the SB 114 stock. I purchased her, had the dealer install Vance and Hines Big Radius full exhaust and had them do the Screaming Eagle Stage 1 tune. I wish I had test driven the SB 114 before the upgrade. But man...coming from a 883 to this torque monster is AMAZING! I have ZERO complaints about this bike whatsoever! Peace out from Tampa.

Got the fastback blue back in April and have put 5000 miles on the bike. I have grown to appreciate the M8 with time. The only thing I did was change the slip-ons out for S&S slash cuts. Otherwise, the114 M8 has plenty of snot to get the most out of the Softail frame. The seat became tolerable after about 3K miles, but I will probably replace it at some point. First add on my 2021 was a Saddlemen Step up seat as the stock seat might look good but it isn't very good and with that 114 torque and it's lack of rise in the back for support you're really having to hold on to not slide off it lol

I do plan on switching the saddle to a Mustang seat and adding a Memphis Shade to the front. I also have luggage tie down straps that will allow me to secure my 70 liter roll bag. hey guy DONT listen to 'others' do what YOU wanna do,same deal when you buy whatever Harley...make it YOUR own not what your buddies or joe-blow down the road youll never see again tells you....YES you will out-grow the sporty(you can always add Harley's 1200cc kit to the 883,giving it alot of snot in the throttle it's a pricey goodie, but youll spend thousands more on the streetbob too) but they are alot of fun too! youll spend alot of cash on future upgrades on your sporty when you progress during ownership with how you ride/drive it...when you get used to it and feeling confident you may desire more power etc BUT...you would save alot off the top in the end vs the street bob price-wise;if cash is not the issue id say go for the streetbob BUT...107 or 114 esp for a 1st Harley or bike, take my advise guy, just take your time with it dont rush or push your limits because you WILL feel this streetbob it pulls like a freight train,if i were you,buy what YOU want! you may buy the sporty and have regrets since you were eyeing the streetbob something to think about for sure! but get what YOU want not what others want youll get 20 opinions from 10 people same with upgrades and goodies, spend and do what YOU want to it or leave it stock you can simply change out grips, foot pegs for a minimal cost too you dont have to spend thousands in upgrades but use caution because it's very easy to climb the ladder with the goodies with Harley and cost;keep this in mind too, your local dealer can always give you a quote on parts/goodies beforehand so you have an idea of what your customization does cost, which you can delete goodies and remember always you can add and do later when you catch up with funds, theres never a rush,so take your time good luck guy!!

For me the problem with a bigger tank is I do group rides. I like to stop about every 150 miles to stretch. I got back knee and hip issues. 20 years Marine infantry does that to you. That tank is a built in excuse to stop. I really think the Street Bob is the best looking Softail and the controls and sitting position are perfect for me. I don't need a 114, I am not a crazy aggressive rider. The problem I have with the 21 & 22 bikes is the colors, they are ok, but I fell in love with the river rock gray and had to have it. Unfortunately, the salesman figured it out and I honestly didn't get the best deal, it was the only one left in Arizona.

That 114 is a beast and honestly since being on the 117 low rider s. I don’t feel much of a difference between the motors I will say the 114 is way more torque to me. It wants to go! Enjoy it bro. I have the 2020. Stock seat is terrible. Looks awesome, but not comfortable. Went with a Mustang touring seat with back rest. Looks kind of dorky, but I have put down over 900 miles in a day. I personally love the rubber fork boots, in know I am in the minority, most people I knew don't like them. Mine is the river rock gray (sparkly brown) color. I didn't get the best deal because that was the only color I wanted and this was the only one in the state. No regrets, not the biggest fan of the 2021 and 2022 colors. A stage II kit will actually gave it more than a stock 114, but I am a laid back rider, and the stock 107 is fine. I am 5'1" I am on my tippy toes with touring seat, so they riding position is perfect for me short ass. Great bikes for short rides, I use mine for touring also. If you choose to use it for touring, get rid of stock seat.

Looking at this model for my first bike. I know most recommend something smaller but figure just taking it easy for the first little bit I’ll be fine. Also the added power to ride with a passenger. Glad you said it would be ok for a first time rider. Love the look of this bike over others in the cruiser lineups.

This is not a beginner's bike first of all, that motor on that light frame is a lot quicker than the Fatbob and RG with the same motor because of the weight.
Put a Memphis Shades fairing, mini floorboards and a sissy bar to lean your backpack against and tour all over the country with it. You don't need a bagger, I've got the RG Special and the Fatbob and I'm thinking about downgrading to this bike
